Setting the scene
Once upon a time, in a land far far away lived a king in a grant castle near the sea. This king was king Neal. Son of the great queen Snow White and her husband, king David.
His sister Emma had foregone the throne in his favor for she preferred to roam the seas with her husband, captain Jones, and her son Henry. Their ship, the Jolly Roger, hadn't been seen in the Enchanted Forest since their last visit two decades ago. It was assumed they had drowned in an accident for otherwise they surely would have send a missive to the castle. The loss of their eldest daughter had hit queen Snow hard and after two years of searching she had given up hope and laid down her reign in favor of her son. She and her husband now lived in Regina's old castle, together with Robin and Regina.
King Neal had married a sweet girl and the two of them had received three daughters. Unfortunately queen Liliana hadn't survived the birth of her youngest daughter and the Charming family had, once again, been stricken with grief. King Neal had secluded himself for the most part after the departure of his wife sixteen years ago. His only joy was his youngest daughter, the apple of his eye and therefore the most spoiled of the three princesses. But this story isn't about king Neal or his parents. This is the story of three princesses on their way to adulthood.
