The sound of the TARDIS materializing rang loud and clear. The bong that signified that the TARDIS had landed sounded.
"Amy, we're here" The Doctor said to his companion.
"Oh good, back to sunny old England! Why can't you refill in Spain or somewhere more romantic!" she gave the Doctor a cheeky wink. He pretended like he didn't see her.
Stepping out of the TARDIS, the scene before them shocked the Doctor to the very core. The city of London, which is not where he was meant to land, was in chaos. Buildings were burning and corpses lay on the ground.
"Doctor.. what, where are we?" Amy asked with a confused look on her face. The Doctor kneeled down to examine one of the corpses. "It's happened" he said. After muttering these words the Doctor ran back into the TARDIS and Amy followed.
"What happened?" Amy asked fearfully, dreading the answer.
"The apocalypse Amy, a story that never should have been wrote has been written and because of it the world has gone, well, MAD!" he shouted this last word and circled the TARDIS console, adjusting settings and attaching a new device.
"Doctor what are you doing?" Amy asked after five minutes of this circling.
"I'm calibrating the TARDIS and attaching the fictionalicator" he answered, his eyes never leaving the device in his hands.
"A-a fictioncator?" she asked, unsure what he had just said.
"Fictionalicator, basically a device which allows us to tamper with the fictional universe within a book or a movie etc". The Doctor had apparently finished his work and put the TARDIS to work.
Gong. They had landed. "Doctor.. are you telling me we're inside the book you were talking about?" Amy asked uncertainly thinking he was pulling her leg. "Yes Amy, and it's dangerous so I need.. this!" The Doctor pulled out a device, longer than the sonic screwdriver and armed himself.
"Let's go"
Stepping out of the TARDIS the Doctor and Amy discovered they were in the woods. They could hear talking.
"I'm a monster..." the voice said.
"Yep, that's it. This is the right story.." the Doctor said, cringing at the cheesy writing.
The Doctor and Amy moved quietly towards the voices. What they saw was two apparently normal people, but the Doctor had said it was dangerous. Amy was not about to disobey. The Doctor moved closer and, hiding behind a log, began to aim his weapon at the boy.
ZAPP
The boy shouted out and fell to the ground. The Doctor walked over casually and propped the boy up.
"I'm sorry about this" he said, "I removed your powers with my normalizer gun!"
The Doctor then snapped the boys neck.

Epilogue
"Why did you kill him?" Amy asked horrified at what the Doctor had done.
"With him dead, fangirls *puts on sunglasses* are just girls."
