Prologue
The young, orphan heiress of the Haruno clan stared at the cheery woman.
"Sakura-chan, meet Sasuke-chan, you'll be living with him and us from now on!" an ebony haired woman said with a cheery smile, looking at a young boy.
The said bubble gum haired girl just blushed and nodded faintly in shyness. The young boy just stared at her with a questioning look.
"Now, you children just play there while I call Fugaku-kun okay? In the meantime, this boy, which is Itachi-kun, will take care of you!" Mikoto, the mother of the two lads, beamed up while pointing at a scowling teenager.
The said boy stared at the new girl, she looks so fragile, so weak, her look paints a need for one thing...

Itachi smiled slightly. He ducked his head low, face to face with the girl, and placed his hand in front of him, signaling a hand shake. The girl blushed madly and shyly took it. He chuckled.
"So, what's your name?" he asked, Sasuke just stared at them.
"S-sakura." she whispered sorftly, so soft that it wasn't almost heard.
"So your name's Sakura? As in cherry blossoms? That's cool! I mean, it's the same color as your hair!" the raven haired boy who was forgotten chirped suddenly. Sakura looked at him in surprise, then nodded faintly. Sakura sobbed silently, remembering her father that died along with her family in the plane crash.
"Hey? Why are you crying? You shouldn't cry you know, you look cuter when you don't, now please smile?" Sasuke cheered.
Sakura daintily wiped her tears with her finger and smiled.
A real smile.
Itachi smiled. Maybe this will be a start of a new friendship.

-After 6 years-
The 12 year old girl skipped happily along the hallways of her school. She's very happy that on her first day of 6th grade, she's made lots of friends. There were Ino, Hinata, Naruto, she couldn't even count them!
When she reached the school gate, there waited a limo for her. The window was pulled down and revealed an annoyed Sasuke.
"Oi Sakura. get inside. What took you so long anyway?" he asked as Sakura got inside.
"Well..." Sakura started on blabbering.
They were so close to each other.
They loved each other.

"What!? Me and Sakura are gonna be siblings?" Sasuke asked shockingly. His parents nodded in unison. His brother just raised a brow about the said topic.
"Yes Sasu-chan. We're gonna adopt Sakura-chan!" Mikoto chirped happily.
"Isn't that great Sakura? Were gonna be siblings! You're gonna be my sister!" Sasuke said happily, shaking Sakura's shoulders continuously.
Sakura smiled uneasily and looked down, hiding the disappointment in her face.
She can love Sasuke, but not the way she used to. For it will be...
