Kairi is the light, the survivor, the free of sin.
Naminé is the nothing, the empty, the space between.
Xion is the impostor, the puppet, the failed imitation.
Aqua is the predecessor, the fallen, the ill-fated exile.

She is the heart, the colors, the pure.
She is the shell, the discard, the hollow.
She is the lie, the falsity, the replica.
She is the damned, the banished, the forgotten.

A soul which experienced darkness, lifelessness, and heartlessness.
An existence which experienced emotionless, captivity, and manipulation.
A creation which experienced a hopeless purpose, turmoil, and memories not hers.
A warrior which experienced pain, defeat, and the loss of what is most precious.

Her heart is made solely of light.
Her heart was never there.
Her heart was merely artificial.
Her heart is wearily beating.

She is waiting for the heroes to come home.
She was waiting for the day her duties might be fulfilled, she now waits to reappear.
She was waiting for answers until she became the answer.
She is waiting for a sign, an opening, a chance to set things right.

She hopes to welcome them back.
She draws herself a new future she can shape.
She sacrifices herself to return to oblivion.
She prays to end eternity.

They are the same, yet they are not.
They exist, but not how they should.
They are the past, yet also the future.
They all trust in patience, but they also fight in faith.

They are living, they are dying.
They are, they are not.
They are farces, they are truth.
They are the wounded, they are the healers.

They are hurt, but they do not tire.
They are lost, and waiting to be found.
They are drifting, yet are caught in an abyss.
They are broken, or are they breaking?

She is the one to succeed them all.
She is whole.
She is gone.
She is missing.

When will their suffering end?

How do they endure?

They shine, even if they have come from darkness.

They are the light.
