Cruella Comes to Town
Description: Ruby was just closing up the diner until a stranger with black and white hair comes up to her asking for a smoke. How I think they can bring back Ruby. This will be a two-shot. (Frankenwolf)

Doesn't Storybrooke have any other eating establishments? Ruby thought to herself as she hurried to get orders and clean the tables of Granny's Diner. She goes up to the window and takes the two burgers and brings them to Leroy and Clark. "Here you guys go." She starts walking to clear the far booth in the diner.
"It's about time." Leroy says as he examines the burger. "I think you have my burger Clark." After Leroy points that out Clark sneezes all over the burger in front of him. "Just great! Ruby we need another burger here quick."
Ruby just rolls her eyes as she takes the dishes to the sink. Luckily this had become somewhat of a routine and Tony already had a burger ready for Leroy. Ruby grabs the plate and starts heading toward Leroy's table until a arm comes out from the hall that leads to the bathrooms and grabs her pulling her in that direction.
"Hey Red." Whales says as he leans down and claims her lips.
Ruby responds by kissing him back and placing her free hand on his jaw to deepen it. Once they broke apart Whale rests his forehead against hers for a moment.
"Victor what are you doing here?"
"Haven't seen you in a while and I'm off the clock; thought I'd have lunch here." Whale states as he tries to kiss her again.
"RUBY! Where's my lunch?" Leroy yells.
Ruby pulls out of Whales embrace while saying "Well then order something off the menu. I have work to do." Ruby starts to go back to the diner but is stopped by Whale who is holding on to her wrist.
"Alright I'll let you get back to work but I have one more question." Whale pulls Ruby back into his arms and asks "Dinner tonight same time same place?"
"Yes same time same place."
Whale presses her lips to his and starts to tangle his hand into her hair until they hear Leroy yell "RUBY!" Ruby quickly leaves Whales arms and heads to the dining area but not till she points to him and says "go out the back way and use the front entrance."
The last thing Whales sees is some wisps of Ruby's brown hair as he starts walking out to the back door.

"See you tomorrow Tony." Ruby says as she waves to him.
"Night." Tony says as he enters his car, starts the engine and drives off.
I thought this day would never end. Ruby thought as she closes the door to the diner and looks for the right key to lock up. Ruby could hear a pair of heals walking up the walk way and stairs. "Sorry where closed." Ruby says as she put the key thru the lock.
"I'm not here to eat darling. I was wondering if you had a light." Highly accented women said from behind Ruby.
"No sorry I don't smoke" Ruby says as she turns around to see who this stranger was. Just by her appearance Ruby knew she had never seen her before. The stranger was a skinny woman with a dress that was covered by a black and white fur coat that matched her hair. "Who are you I've never seen you before?"
"Names Cruella, and you will do as I say." Before Ruby could respond a puff of green smoke left Cruell's lips and covered Ruby's face.
Ruby's blue eyes turned bright green but then turned back into blue. She had no idea what was going on. In her head she was telling herself to move but the wolf in her was stopping her as if in a trance.
"Come my darling we have work to do." Cruells says with a wave of her hand, Ruby follows behind her.

"Sheriff something horrible has happened to Ruby." Whale says as he walks up to her at the front of the station.
"What? What happened to Ruby?" Emma asks concerned.
"I don't know but she was supposed to meet me an hour ago at the docks to have dinner with me but she never showed." Whale explains as panic creeps into his voice.
"It's a full moon Doc maybe she went out for a run."
"Even if she had gone for a run she still would have come to the docks you know Ruby doesn't break her promises."
"Maybe Granny sent her on an errand and couldn't get a hold of you to tell you she might not make it. Either way I can't do anything about it right now."
"She's your friend Emma and you're going to do nothing." Whale yells because he can't believe what Emma is saying.
"Yes she's my friend but I also know that she is her own person and does what she wants. She can also take care of herself. If you don't see her at Granny's tomorrow then we can worry." Emma starts to walk to her car after her spat.
"Emma." Whale calls from the steps. Emma turns to face him. "Sorry it's just not like Ruby to miss our dates."
"It's alright I'll see you tomorrow." Whale nods to confirm as he watches Emma get into her car and drive off.
He walks the path he normally does to get home. Passing Granny's on the way. Maybe she had to stay late to look over the books. He thought as he walks up the steps. He goes to put his hand on the doorknob but sees Ruby's keys in it. Ruby always locks up and never forgets her keys. Whale takes the keys out and rushes into the diner yelling "Ruby! Ruby!" He looks throughout the whole diner but no sign of her.
Whale walks back out closing and locking the door behind him. Whale could only thing of two other places she would go. But he had a feeling that she would not be with Granny. So he heads to the woods.
Dun Dun Dun. Will Whale find Ruby in time? Will Whale end up like Peter? Why does Cruella need Ruby.
All will be revealed in the next chapter.
