Summary:
Today is the special day for your particular girl and you need to give her something she will have to treasure, but wait… you gave her a what?!
No pain… No game
You started walking to the usual spot where you and that girl hanged out a lot when she has some time to visit you. You were just a few paces to that usual spot, when you heard a girl's giggle behind you. You turned around and then… BOOM! She hits you with her very, I mean quite enormous fan.
"What did I do?" you winced in pain from the large bump she gave to you.
"I told you to stop! Are you deaf?" she was teasing you.
You stared at her and then you remembered that it was that girl's special day. You were going to the usual spot to surprise her with a gift, but seeing that she had followed you, your plan backfired.
"Did you?' you scratched your head.
The girl stared at you with a raised brow and she moved closer to you. You sensed that she may already know of your plan, but you were wrong. She touched your soaring forehead and she hits you again with her enormous fan.
"Ouch! Now what's that for?" you shouted angrily.
"You are really deaf." And then she left.
It was too late to turn back and ask for an apology, that you chased after her. She was startled when she felt your hand on her wrist, that she, and now accidentally hits you really, I mean really really hard in your head. You see birds flying around your head and then THUD. You fell to the ground out of dizziness.
"Shikamaru! Shikamaru!" she screamed your name.
You began to have some concoction in your head that you began to mumble words that you must not say… not in front of her… not yet.
"I love you." There, you finally said it.
Her eyes widened and she dropped your head on the ground. Thud. You finally pulled it out. You touched the back of your head and stared at her. She was looking down on you with a weird face and then she began to laugh.
"You're such a kidder!" she punched you on your shoulder and you screamed from the large impact of her fists in your shoulder.
"What did I say?" you were wincing.
She stared at you and you stared back. You try to recall what had just happen but your mind was… a blank, and I mean nothing.
You placed your hands on your pant's pocket, and then you touched the gift that you will give to her in your usual spot. You pulled it out and showed it to her. Her eyes blinked and again blinked and then her eyes narrowed, her brows furrowed and then she began to frown.
"Happy birthday!" you exclaimed happily. She just stare at the 'thing' you were showing to her.
"What is that?" she asked, looking back to you.
"Are you blind? It's a mini version of your fan!" you exclaimed joyfully handing it to her. She narrowed her eyes even sharper and then she grabbed it abruptly and then BANG! She hits you with her mini version fan.
"You are really troublesome!" she stood up, turned back from you and walked away.
You stared at her retreating figure and then you sighed out deeply. "I just hope she will just hit me with that mini fan instead of that enormous fan of hers the next time she calls me deaf."
