You always had an eye for things that glittered
But I was far from being made of gold
I don't know how but I scraped up the money
I just never could quite tell you no
Miley pulled me up to the window and pointed at some braclet that she had told me that she had to have.
"Miles, it's really expensive" I said.
Miley looked at me, she didn't even say anything, she just looked at me, and I melted right there on the spot.
I took out my wallet and nodded my head.
"Let's go" I said, and Miley smiled and pulled me into the store.

"I have to go, it's a great job, and if I don't, I'll never get the chance again" Miley yelled, pointing that dang finger at me.
"I know, but-" I started, but then I smiled as an idea formed in my head. Miley looked at me like I was crazy, which is what I was thinking too.
I picked up the phone and called my boss.
"Sorry to call you at home" I said when he answered.
I waited for a moment.
"I quit" I said, and I heard the gasp from Miley that I had expected.
I hung up and smiled brightly at her.
"Now we can be together" I said, and Miley smiled, and she hugged me tightly.

"Mikayla, I just need a little time, that's all, don't make this harder!" Miley yelled, as the tears started rolling her face, and I gulped.
"Alright" I said, and Miley's eyes widened.
She had expected me to try stop this, to try and fix whatever had gotten messed up.
"You want space, you got it, mostly because I can't stand to see you cry" I said, as I walked out slammed the door.

Miley walked up to me, holding onto the hand of a very shy-looking blonde.
"This is Lilly, my girlfriend" she said, a small smile on her face as Lilly noticed that Miley had Red Bull.
"Gimme!" she yelled.
Miley handed it to her and smiled again at me, begging me to say anything, to tell her that I was happy for her.
"That's great Miles, I gotta go, my brother's waiting for me in the car" I said, and said bye to Lilly too.
Miley smiled.
"Thanks, ok, bye" she yelled after me as I walked away.
