Ultimate X-men: The Tunnels

The girl walked along her corridor, she was shaken. She didn't know what to think. Had what she just saw been real, or a figment of her imagination. Kitty wasn't sure. But she knew one thing, nothing would ever be the same again.
"Hey Kitty, what's up?" said Iceman. Kitty whirled round on him.
"what do you think is up?!" said Kitty angrily.
"Our teammate just got killed by Wolverine, Nightcrawler is going Psycho. Jean is all Phoenix. Everything is going wrong lately. Thats whats wrong bob." Said Kitty. She then turned round swiftly, and stormed off down the corridor.
"woah.. whats eating her." Said Iceman.
Meanwhile, In the subbasement. Jean and Professor X are discussing Jeans future.
"Jean, today you showed you have regained control of your powers, but we don't know wether we can really trust you wont go through another episode again." Said Professor X.
"Professor, I don't mind. If you honestly think that I should stay in the cell longer, ok. It isn't much fun, but ok." Said Jean. She looked at Professor X awaiting an answer.
"Well, it is settled then, you shall stay in the cell for one more week, then we will reevaluate the situation, yes?" said Professor X.
"Yes" said Jean.
-later, War room-
"X-men, im sorry to be giving you a mission so soon after earlier's events. But It is imperative you go sort this now. After we defeated Magician, I sent Storm, Wolverine and Colossus to New York, into the sewers after we received a distress call from a mutant, saying they had been kidnapped by some sort of mutant sewer dwellers. The Morlocks. You best get there immediately, I would like Cyclops, Kitty, Iceman, Rogue and Nightcrawler to go to the sewers, and retrieve the others, and the lost mutant. Godspeed X-men." Said Professor X.
"Professor.. Are you sure that the mutant wasn't a morlock? Trying to lure us down there" said Rogue.
"Yes, I am fairly certain, but just in case, I will be staying in contact with you throughout the mission" said Professor X.
"Ok Professor, We will go now, Lets suit up X-men" said Cyclops.
-New York, Morlock Sewers-
"This place, Is soooooo Gross." Said Kitty.
"Shadowcat, be quiet" said Cyclops
"sorry boss man" said Kitty. She rolled her eyes.
"ok, Bobby, Kitty, go down to the right, Rogue, Nightcrawler come with me" said Cyclops. Kitty gave Scott a completely bemused look.
"you are kidding right!? We are splitting up? But.. they do that in all the horror movies, and the pretty one dies first" said Kitty.
"Well then Ya'll got nothing to worry about sugah" said Rogue. Kitty shot her a scathing look.
"Fine, lets go Snowbob" said Kitty. Kitty stomped down the sewer tunnel, closely followed by a sheepish looking Iceman. Kitty and Bobby had been walking for about 5 minutes. When Bobby who had taken the lead, stopped suddenly.
"For god sake! Im totally gonna have to wash my uniform when we get back.." said Kitty. Kitty stopped suddenly too. "What?" said Kitty. She looked at Bobby, he had placed a finger to his lips. Kitty looked in horror, at the woman with pink spiky hair, and sharp bones protruding from her back and arms. "Sun Skunks..." she hissed.
