A/N - I actually love writing for these girls (and now guy(s))... so here's another fic in the Sid/Mot saga for you! Now also featuring Link (short for Linkin Park).
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing, just close your eyes"
"That's real comforting" Link mumbled, closing his eyes. They soon snapped open though, as he felt something soft wrap around his neck. "What's that?"
"A ribbon, now shut up" Motley poked him in the back on the head for emphasis.
"Are you trying to hang me or something?" he asked, feeling the material around his neck.
"No, now shush" Link glared at the wall and grumbled to himself, fidgeting.
"There, done" Mot said after a few more minutes. "Aww, you look so pretty".
Standing, Link frowned and walked over to the mirror hanging on the wall. As he approached it, he spun on his heel to glare at Mot. "You could've at least picked a more masculine colour!" He said, prodding at the bright pink ribbon around his neck, now tied into a bow.
"Pink suits you" Mot said, grinning. "Besides, you agreed to be Sid's birthday present"
"I didn't say anything about a ribbon"
"You can't be a present without ribbon! Unless you'd like me to find some paper to wrap you up in?"
"Ribbon's good"

"Sid! You decent?"
"What?"
"Doesn't matter, I'm coming in anyway"
Grinning, Link pulled the curtain away from the hole that was the door into Sid's room and walked inside. Seeing that Sid was just sitting on the floor reading, he frowned.
"Spoil my fun, I thought you'd be getting changed"
"Oh shut up" Sid said, picking up a pillow to throw at him. She stopped and raised an eyebrow at the sight of the bow around Link's neck. "What's with the ribbon?"
"Oh, right" Link scowled, pulling a piece of paper from his pocket. "Hey Sidders, told ya I'd get you a good pressie this year, love Mot" he read aloud, still scowling. "Can I take the ribbon off now?"
"Nope" Sid grinned, pulling him down to sit with her. "Looks funny"
