A pair of boots made little noise as Sir Integral Hellsing marched over to Kestra, eyeing her up and down, a cigarette in between her lips, glare from the sun arched upon her glasses. "Hello there... I am Integral from the Hellsing Organization..." The blond extended her hand for Kestra to shake.
Kestra narrowed her yellow eyes, examining Integral, then finally looked down at her hand. She looked away.
"I don't accept handshakes."
Clearing her throat, Integral brought her hand back closer. "Well, in all matter of seriousness, I'd like to speak with you. If you would come to Hellsing for a moment? Tis something I doubt all these people at the docks would be interested in hearing... wouldn't want to scare them, ya'know."
"Why would you want to speak with me?"
"I hear that your stronger that most-- possibly all-- of these morons... and I request your help."
"So I have a reputation..." That wasn't good. She preferred to remain unnoticed. "And with what do you need my help- no, wait, let me guess. You will only tell me that, if I come with you, right?" She shook her head. "I don't work for anyone."
Integral narrowed her eyes, speaking in monotone. "In case you haven't noticed, there have been a lot of mysterious deaths. We at Hellsing need a strong-willed warrior without fear. I see that in you. There have been my turnings and people have been recruited as ghouls. I ask nothing but your skill. Simply kill the ghouls and you will be rewarded." She then looked around at all of the staring sailors, shrugging
She pulled out a pistol, and aimed it at a sailor "Move along or never move again." She waited until they had dispersed, then put the pistol away. "Don't you already have hired goons to do that for you?"
"None in this vicinity and they..." She chuckled nervously. "Don't really enjoy being in the sun too much.."
"Vampires. How interesting." She sighed, having the feeling that she would end up giving in anyway. "Very well, I'll help you. But only because I think i don't really have a choice"
"Thank you Dame Kestra. I appreciate your help." She bows her head.
"Dame?" She raised her eyebrow, then sighed. "Are we going then? I have patience, but not much."
By the time Kestra spoke, Integral was already on her way. Her boots making the distinct clicking noise.
After about an hour of walking, they were met by a large building, two guards in front whom let them pass. "Welcome to Hellsing..."
"I'm somewhat impressed...though I expected more security. Unless that's just the surface."
"This is just--" A boom was heard interrupting Sir Integral, followed by cheers. With narrow, unamused eyes she finished her sentence. "--the surface..."
"I thought as much. What, may I ask, was that?"
A bored look remained as she spoke. "Police woman... She is training with the rest of my 'goons' as you say..."
"Training appears to contain explosions and cheering. Sounds more like some drunken madmen with a cannon"
"It would seem that way... Yes" Integral sighed, a nervous chuckle escaping her lips.
In walked a girl with somewhat of a cannon, followed by some soldiers.
"What do you need Cop?"
"Uhm... About that..." She twiddled her fingers through her blond hair, holding the rather large firearm as if it were nothing.
"She blew up everything!!" Shouted the lead soldier. "The whole damn training arena!! All the signs!! The boards!!" He sneezed, black ash from the explosion falling from his nose. "And you don't wanna know where the rest of that black stuff is!!"
Integral clears her throat. "Go talk to Walter... He'll know what to do.."
They began to disperse, in search of Hellsing's butler.
End, Chapter one.
