Just a Dream
A young girl with raven trellises, no more than 17, walked through a forest; the sun shining on her porcelain skin. Thousands of little cherry blossoms flew through the air and landed gracefully onto the soft, green grass; every once and a while, being picked up by the petite girl.
"I wonder… he loves me, he loves me not." She said, plucking the peddles off of the flower one by one.
She repeated this process over and over until…
"Kagome!"
The girl known as Kagome dropped her flower as she jumped in fright. Knowing exactly who had called her, she stood and prepared for yet another argument.
"InuYasha, I was just talking a walk."
A boy with violet eyes and waist length hair emerged from the trees. "I don't care. You shouldn't have gone off without someone."
Kagome rolled her eyes. "I can defend myself you know."
"No you can't and I'm not a half-demon right now so it isn't safe to leave by yourself till tomarrow."
"But InuYasha-"
"No but's Kagome. I don't want anything happening to you…"
InuYasha turned his head to the side trying to hide the blush that rose onto his face.
"Nothing will happen to me. I promise."
Kagome moved closer to him and turned his face toward her. Chocolate colored eyes met violet ones as they stared, searching each others souls. InuYasha embraced Kagome so quickly she didn't even have a chance to be surprised.
Holding onto her as if letting go would end his life he said "I can't… I can't take that chance."
He slowly loosened his grip to once again look into the eyes he found so beautiful.
"InuYasha… What are you doing?"
Kagome was silenced by InuYasha's lips upon hers; sharing their first real kiss. Finally getting what she longed for, she grasped his hand, stood on her toes, and melted into him. Licking her lips as if to ask for entrance, she opened her mouth and allowed him to explore. Unfortunatly, her happiness lasted only a short while as she needed air.
Slowly, Kagome broke the kiss and open her eyes, only to find she was kissing nothing but the wind.
