She couldn't believe it, he was on the verge of tears. For a moment, she almost felt pity for the Slifer, but she stood firm. As his best friend, she couldn't let Jaden do this to himself.
"Give it back!"
"No."
"But I earned it!"
He was right. Jaden's unbelievable luck won him the bet against Chazz for a ridiculous prize. His entire dorm room floor was littered with candy wrappers. In her hand was the rest of the candy for the week and she had no intention of giving it back. Seeing Jaden on a sugar rush was frightening.
"Please?"
"NO!"
Fed up, she stuck the bag down her vest and crossed her arms. Blushing furiously, Jaden finally cracked.
