In Jinta's opinion tomboy sisters should be outlawed. Especially if said tomboy sister was close to her much cuter nicer sister that he just happened to have just the slightest bit of a crush on. And because of that, it made Karin Kurosaki his mortal enemy.

Of course, Karin didn't have to be just any normal tomboy, but a tomboy that actually had a good chance of beating him into a bloody pulp. Honestly, how was he ever supposed to get close to Yuzu if he had Karin breathing down his neck every time he looked at the more feminine twin. And for some unexplained reason she was always around when he ran into Yuzu these days, which was really beginning to tick him off. He had enough trouble not looking like an idiot around Yuzu by himself without a crazed violent sister getting on his nerves.

So he spent most of his recent days between self-pity for himself, and jealous rage for Karin, who could so easily spend all the time she wanted with sweet Yuzu while he was stuck admiring her from a distance. The only thing that got him out of his funk was when Tessai tired to give him some strange medicine to 'help cure his ails'. He had to sacrifice Ururu to get out of it, and decided that he wasn't going to take Karin's Yuzu hogging anymore.

Figuring that Yuzu was probably home by then, Jinta made his way to the Kurosaki clinic and knocked on the house door. Fate had to be smiling on him that day since it was his crush who answered and she was blissfully free of her annoying sibling. "Jinta, what brings you here?" she asked a bit surprised.

"Ah, well," the redhead boy stutters, realizing he hadn't bothered thinking of a reason for him to be visiting without sounding lame. "I was just in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by."

Yuzu's face brightens into her usual sweet smile that never fails to leave Jinta speechless and red in the face. "I'm actually really glad that you came by," she tells him inviting him in. "I have a gift for you, for your next soccer game that I need to give you."

Jinta is only able to blink and nod stupidly as he follows the pre-teen girl through the Kurosaki living quarters. "It's up in my room so we'll have to go to the next floor," Yuzu explains as the head up the stairs, "But since I'm the only one home at the moment we don't have to worry about disturbing anyone."

Jinta nods and can't help but hope he's the only that can hear how loud his heart is beating. He quickly pinches his arm to make sure that this wasn't a cruel dream and that he was finally getting the chance to be with Yuzu minus the usual obstacles that were the girl's family.

When they get to the room, Jinta can instantly tell which half belongs to Yuzu and which belongs to the demon child. He waits by the doorway just inside the girls' sanctum, as the blond girl searches through some drawers before pulling something out of one of them with a squeal of glee, "Here it is!"

She rushes over to him and displays two small red and white plush bears that were kissing, via magnets in their noses. Yuzu pulls them apart and hands Jinta one of the bears and says, "Here, a new lucky charm for you, since Bostov ended up being ruined in your last soccer game."

Before he can stammer out a 'thank you', an orange haired teen pokes his head in the door asking, "Who are you talking to, Yuzu?"

"Ah, Ichigo, this is my friend, Jinta," Yuzu says smiling.

Jinta is sure he looks like a deer caught in the headlights as Ichigo gives him a death glare. "N-nice to meet you," the redhead mutters quickly, "I gotta go now, bye." And with that the boy zooms out of the house as quickly as his legs can carry him, praying that the older boy doesn't give chase.

When he's several blocks away, Jinta curses his luck for failing him at a time like that and making him look like a jerk. On his way home he comes to the conclusion that older brothers aren't much better than tomboy sisters and need to be outlawed too.
