Disclaimer and AN: I don't own Gravitation but I do own this fanfiction. For those of you who have read "Happy Bday Shu!" and were wondering what the present was, well just add Yuki, Shuichi, and a bedroom together. Anyways, onto the fanfic!
Title: Snow
Shuichi awoke from his slumber, rubbing his amethyst eyes and yawning. He climbed out of bed, oversized plaid pajama pants dragging across the floor as he walked. He glanced at the window still half-awake before he began to walk again. He suddenly stopped and turned his gaze outside toward the window once more. His lips curled into a smile as he began to jump up and down yelling.
"It's snowing! It's snowing!"
Yuki covered his head with the pillow, attempting to drown out his lover's squeals but to know avail. He sat up, scowling, and chucked his pillow at Shuichi.
"I'm trying to sleep, brat!" He growled, brushing some hair out of his eyes.
"But Yuki! It's snowing! Don't you want to come with me and watch the snow fall? It's really beautiful," said Shuichi who seemed to have never noticed the pillow that had hit him.
"No, I don't." The grumpy writer pulled the covers over his head and closed his eyes again. Shuichi wasted no time and jumped onto Yuki's sleeping form.
"Aw... come on, Yuki! Let's go watch the snow together."
"NO" came the muffled reply.
"Don't make me resort to such tactics," said Shuichi as he trailed his finger up Yuki's spine to the base of his neck and began edging toward his ear.
"You wouldn't dare."
"Oh I would Uesugi Eiri, I would." There was something in Shuichi's voice that told him the boy wasn't lying. Yuki flipped over on his back so that he was facing Shuichi.
"Why do you want to do something so boring such as watching the snow? More importantly, why do you have to drag me into it?" asked Yuki, glaring at Shuichi. He watched the pink-haired singer give him a look with large round amethyst eyes. 'No, not that look!' thought Yuki as he tried to turn the gaze down, but it was simply irresistible.
"Okay, I'll go watch the fucking snow with you! Just stop looking at me like that!" yelled Yuki, clearly irritated.
"Oh, you mean like this?" said Shuichi, pushing his face right in front of Yuki's.
"If you continue to do that, we're staying on the bed," said Yuki curtly. Shuichi blushed slightly at the comment before getting off the bed and prancing toward the closet to get dressed. Yuki just shook his head and smiled inwardly at his lover's idiotic but cute tactics.

Half an hour later found the two men bundled in warm clothing and heading outside. It had stopped snowing but the streets were covered in a soft crystalline powder. Shuichi picked up some with his gloved hands and threw it up into the air. Yuki couldn't help but grin. Shuichi was always so childlike and yet grown up.
He looked at the streets and couldn't help but think that it was beautiful. Everything seemed frozen in time and so fragile and peaceful.
"Hey brat, you still didn't tell me why you liked the snow so much." Shuichi turned around and smiled back at Yuki.
"I've always loved the snow. It reminds me a lot of Christmas, but now I have another reason to love it."
"And what is that?" asked Yuki, lighting a cigarette.
"Because it reminds me of you. Your name means snow after all," said Shuichi, laughing slightly. Yuki blinked at Shuichi, not knowing what to say. "It's sort of stupid, huh?"
"The sort of thing you'd expect from a baka like you," said Yuki, kissing Shuichi lightly. 'Was that his way of saying a compliment?' thought Shuichi, blinking. He looked up and saw Yuki walking away from him.
"Yuki! Where are you going?"
"What does it look like? I'm going for a walk. You coming or not, slowpoke?" asked Yuki, not slowing down.
"Hey, wait up!
