Chapter 1

The fresh salty air filled Harry's lungs with one deep breath; he could hear the waves rolling behind him and the warm rays of sunshine flooding over him. The salty smell gave Harry a grave reminder of that night years ago at the cave with Dumbledore, he shuddered at the thought. It seemed like ages ago now; he did not want to think about it anyway, they were here for Hermione.

"You're sure their still here? You never know..." wondered Ron.

"Positive." Hermione declared but looked a little worried.

"Well then let's get off this beach quick, I can feel a sunburn coming already!" piped up Ron.

"You're such a prat, Ron" Teased Harry.

So the trio set of, marching towards a cabin not far down the deserted beach. They walked in a comfortable silence until they got to the doorstep. It was a small robin's egg blue cabin with a white shingled roof, one window and wrap around fence; it had the appearance of a cross between Hagrids hut and an outhouse.

"Well, this is home..." said Hermione with a small grimace.

"You've got to be joking!" whined Ron.

"It's the best I could do!"

"What are you playing at? This is a shack!"

"You were the ones who put me in charge, so don't complain!"

"I wouldn't have put you in charge if I'd had known we'd be living in here..."

"Could you just give me a break for one moment Ronald!"

"Will you two stop bickering and get inside! You're driving me crazy!" snapped Harry.

The other two exchanged glances of loathing and walked into their new home. There were bunk beds on the far side of the room next to the door that must have lead to the bathroom, a pea sized kitchen and a small wooden table sat in the middle of the square room. Looking around the room he couldn't help but think of his Aunt Marge. The walls were covered in an outdated floral pattern and was peeling away to reveal the peach painted walls underneath. Harry thought this place felt very stuffy and smelt of seaweed but would never dare tell Hermione, he knew she put a lot of effort into finding it.

"I'll take to top bunk I guess..." said Harry as he glanced at the bed where Ron and Hermione pilled their things on the bottom bunk.

It appeared that they had had settled into a silent agreement to let their arguments go. Hermione walked outside and began to put the usual magical enchantments around the property they had perfected while camping not too long ago.

Once they settled in around dusk, they all sat around the wooden table in a heavy silence. They all knew they should be discussing the plan of action during their stay here but no words could come to their minds. They all knew, but would not say aloud that their journey ahead was going to be like finding a needle in a haystack.
