pepperoni and sex with your wife

Disclaimer: I don't House, or there would be more kissing and no Tritter.

Summary: House takes Wilson's advice and eats with Chase, Cameron and Foreman. He's very House about it, though.

Making sure any hesitation was gone from his face as he opened the door to the restaurant and strode over to the booth that his underlings were sitting at, and plopped down next to Cameron.

"I hope you didn't order without me," House said cheerfully, grabbing the menu from Chase, who was sitting across from him.

"That would have been very rude of us," Foreman said.

"Sarcasm isn't befitting of you," House chided.

To the point, Cameron said, "What are you doing here?"

House turned to her, pouting, "I thought, you, at least would want me to be here." He tapped his cane on the ground lightly, as he continued, "Unless you take this as me getting better and it's a turn-off." He then gave a pointed look to Chase, shaking his head, clicking his tongue, "Women."

"We were planning on ordering two pies," Chase said, trying to smooth things over. He could clearly hear him saying 'So it's okay that you took the menu from me.'

Children, always trying to excuse adults. Very sad.

"We've already decided on one," Foreman said. "Mushrooms and ham."

"Good thing I like that," House said as the waitress walked over, with three glasses of soda.

"A Dr. Pepper," House said, before she could ask, and then wrapped his arm around Cameron's shoulder because it annoyed her and made her shiver slightly.

"I think the other one should be pepperoni," Cameron said, her voice slightly higher than normal.

"So boring," House said making a face a Foreman. "No creativity these days."

"It's just a pizza," Cameron said sharply.

"Everything boils down to just a pizza," House said, poking Chase under the table with his cane, and trying to ignore the feeling of the bottle brushing against his leg. "And pepperoni is like sex with your wife, boring and predicable."

"Some people think it's comforting," Foreman said.

"You still need a hooker to keep things fun," House said. "Let's make it anchovy and spinish."

Foreman and Chase's noses curled up.

"Okay," Chase said, despite it. When Foreman opened his mouth, Chase said, "It'll be easier in the long run."

"He better eat some of it," Foreman said as the waitress walked up with his soda.

House ordered, adding pepperoni to the first pie.

"Predicatable is sometimes comforting," House said when everyone shot him a look.

In the end, only one of the anchovy and spinish slices was eaten, and no one bothered to take the rest home.
