A/N: Okay, this is just what I was hoping Jack would say when Juliet asked him what he wanted to know in the season premiere, A Tale of Two Cities.

"What do you want to know?"

"What do I want to know? I'll tell you what I want to know… Who is my sister?" He had meant it as a trick question, but Juliet simply glanced through the packet of paper and replied "Claire Littleton."

Jack sat, stunned to silence. Juliet looked up, misinterpreting his expression, and answered with "What? You thought we didn't know that, Jack? We know everything about you."

Jack continued to stare, blank and confused at her, and it finally dawned on Juliet the reason for his expression. "What? You didn't know?" She was beginning to panic.

Jack saw this and decided to take advantage of it to find out more. He put on his most angry and outraged face, and began pounding on the glass separating him from Juliet.

"What do you mean? What do you mean?"

Juliet, frightened by his rage began to stutter an excuse.

"NO!" Jack yelled "I want the truth! I deserve the truth!"

Quickly forming a plan in her head, Juliet said "Oh, they must have filed this in the wrong file. Oh, yes, this doesn't say Jack Sheperd, it says…uh…Roger Littleton. Yeah.

Seeing through this lie, Jack said "Claire doesn't have a brother! Tell me the truth!"

With that, he threw a metal chair at the window, shattering it and sending shards of glass through the air. Jack quickly jumped through the opening and grabbed Juliet.

"Tell me or I swear I'll kill you!"

"Okay! Your father. When he was in Australia. He…he had an affair. And Claire…Claire is your sister."

In his awe, Jack released her. He stumbled backwards and several armed Others ran in and fired their stunners at him.

When he woke up, he was in a cage. He heard Sawyer.

"Well, lookee here. Sleeping beauty finally woke up," he said in his Southern drawl.

Jack did not respond. The memories of the day's events flowed back into his head, and he decided it would be best not to tell Sawyer. At least, not yet.

He was a big brother. The whole concept was new to him. He had felt a strong need to protect her, but he figured that was a doctor. But now that he thought about it, he realized that he had felt more protective of Claire than of most of the other islanders. And what if he was killed by the Others before he got to tell her? Who would watch over her? She would never know that he was her brother.

A/N: Okay, I'm sorry, this is a bad place to stop, but I couldn't think of anything else. This is a one-shot, so unless I think of something else to add, this is the end. Also, this is my first story, so…be kind.

As always, Read & Review, oh, and my friend has this theory that all LOST fans have a fear of bees, so could you mention whether or not you are.

Thanks,

Erin
