Chapter 1: A New Hope
Hey guys. After the epic fail of my House of Hades story, I got a beta; they're going to help me write better, now for the first chapter of my new story Camp Fire heart.

It all started at the fourth annual post-war celebrations. Gaia and her ugly giant sons had finally been defeated, on Leo's birthday too. Of course no one remembered and he had another lonely birthday. If anyone talked to him he would put on a fake smile and Sarcastic Man is back again. But for Leo it was too much he had had enough, it was time to do something.
"Hey, it's the heroes of Olympus, Jason, Percy, Annabeth, Piper, and Hazel"
The campers cheered and screamed as we sat down in the Amphitheatre. No one of course remembered Leo "loudmouth" Valdez.
"Hey, what about Leo," Leo's new best friend Austin son of Apollo said.
You see as Jason and I grew further apart as he started hanging out around Percy and Nico more I hung around Austin as we had many things in common I even made him an electric guitar.
In the past Titan War when all the demigods were tending to their wounds, a horde of monster attacked the base of the Empire State Building. Austin held them off till the gods arrived, but he received no gift or gratitude.
In the Giant War I was in similar situation I fought two giants simultaneously while everyone teamed up on Porphyrion.
Anyway, once people heard that they started looking at me "Yay," they said with fake enthusiasm. "
Leo decided to skip the party. He wasn't wanted there anyway. He walked back to the new, renovated Bunker 9 where he was working on the Argo 3. He was on the forge where he caught sight of a lily near his bed. He flashed back to last year.
"Leo" Calypso giggled as they embraced on the camp's border. "You're home"
Leo was back. He and Calypso had been flying for days. They were in the middle of nowhere and flying through nothing, just miles and miles of clouds. They were close to giving up. But Leo saw something. It was the tip of the Empire State Building! "Yo Calypso!" Leo shouted over the wind. "Buckle up! We're going down" Calypso screamed as Festus descended swiftly.
They had descended down and they were greeted with smiles and hugs. It was kinda awkward between Calypso and Percy though.
For 2 months Leo's life was great, he had a relationship with an incredibly hot girlfriend in Calypso and Leo also had his best friends by his side.
Then, Calypso left him. She wanted it to be mutual, she thought that being immortal it would be wrong to stay with Leo and not be able to grow old with him.
Jason had left for 2 years, only stopping for small visits as he had to fulfil his promise to the minor gods. He had taken Piper with him and that kinda hurt too.
Percy and Annabeth went on a European road trip for a 2 years with Reyna, Conner, Travis and Katie. Leo had been invited, but being the only single one there it would be just like the Argo 2 days and Leo wasn't going through that again. They came back after Leo's 18th birthday. He still had a celebration in camp as he was now the only one of "The Seven" remaining. When he was 18 the gods made a portal between Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter. They had some campmates leave and some new ones arrive. Annabeth, Conner, Travis, and Jason all left to get degrees. So that meant Piper, Percy, Katie and Reyna left with them. But then things stated to pick up. He, Jake Mason and Austin Apex had struck up a bromance and became amazing friends.
Then his 19th birthday went past and a lot of crazy things happened. Travis and Conner stole all of the Assassin's Creed games and played them, Syndicate and Black Flag being their favourite. They then got permission from the gods to make their own "Creed" and they were the Stealth section of the "Olympic Army" the army the gods had made to combat any more threats. It started when the Hunters and Amazons had a joint mission and were able to destroy the horde of monsters that had gathered up. That gave Ares and Apollo an idea to make the army and it now has 200 members.
At the Age of 21 and 20 Jason, Percy, Annabeth, Piper and Nico were now the veterans training new warriors.
Hazel and Frank were the new praetors.
Anyway, Leo had had enough. It was time for action. He had an Idea, of having a huge Argo 3 and just running away, he thought London was the best option. As of now, only Austin and Jake new but he was going to let everybody know soon.
At the camp the celebrations were in full ran to his bunk and underneath there was a button, it said BIG GREEN BUTTON. PRESS WHEN READY. There was another button that said ENDGAME. That was when everything came together. That was the final stage of Leo's plan.
Leo called Jake and Austin and told them to call the chosen 5 to accompany them to London.
There was Conner and Travis, Katie, Lacy, Skylar (Daughter of Apollo).
They were all gathered in Bunker 7. The bunker above Bunker 9.
"So," Travis started "What's happening?" Conner finished for him.
"Guys I've chosen u five along with Jake and Austin to come with me on the Argo 3, for too long I've felt isolated at this Camp. I want to do something, and I want you 5 to join me. " Leo stopped so they could ponder the information. "Leo, what the hell?" Katie said. " I know it's a risk Leo began again, "but together I think we can execute the plan that I have set out. The first destination is London and from there," Leo paused and took a look at all the faces gazing at him. Some looked intrigued, most looked shocked. "I know this is a long shot, but I'm asking you to trust me. Its time, who's with me?"
So there it is! The first in my new series, Camp Fire Heart I know, it's been two years. But in my defence….nah I've got nothing. IGCSE are on the horizon so I won't be regularly updating. But please stick with me. I want to have the next chapter by February at the least and April at the earliest.
As always review as that gives me a bit of a confidence boost and some more motivation. I have everything planned out and its only a matter of getting it down on paper. Or on the computer, so to speak.
