Chapter 1: The Adventure Begins
Me and my brother, Aren, were running around the fields, playing tag."Hey, Arthur, Where is Gail? He said he would be here." Aren asked. I sighed. "Most likely in the Alcemy Labs. Let's go check." I moaned. Aren flinched, because he didn't like going down to the Labs. Suddenly, a bright brue ball of magic appeared in front of me. I touched it with my finger, until our mom's face appeared in the light. "Hi. Just need to tell you that we're gonna be 30 days late." My mom said. Than the ball disappeared. I looked at Aren and we both sighed. We finally got to the Alcemy Labs where, as I expected, Gain was waiting for us, holding an orb in his hand. "Finally, you're here. I was worried I would have to do this on my own." He sneered. "But isn't that-" I started. But it was too late. He smashed the orb, mist flying everywhere. I grabbed Aren and ran. We ran into the the armory. Aren changed into his mage robes and grabbed his staff, while I got into my armor and grabbed my small sword. Bronzer, I called it. We ran into the ladder shaft and went down it...
