When someone would accidentally call him Squall, (or in Yuffie's case on purpose) he would insist they call him Leon. Squall wasn't his name. Maybe it was once, but it wasn't anymore. Squall was the weak and aloof teen that had failed to save his homeworld, Radiant Garden. Radiant Garden was no longer called radiant for it was not. Hollow Bastion suited the world better now in its tarnished state, for it was nothing more then a hollow bastion. Leon is the fiercely independent leader of the HBRC. The Leon he is now would not lose his homeworld once again. He was stronger this time, not as weak or helpless like Squall. The Squall he was didn't just lose his home. He lost his friends, companions and the most important person in his life. Leon would protect his newfound friends this time, though no one could ever replace that person's place in his heart. And he could never forgive Squall for losing her. He could never forgive himself for losing her. That's why when someone gave him a saddened, knowing look when he firmly stated his name was Leon, he looked away. After all, he was moving forward, wasn't he?
