Disclaimer: I do not own any of the original One Piece characters. They belong to Eiichiro Oda. I do, however, own Ryuu and Zateia. Also, the story was originally written with Zoro as Zolo, but I am changing it to Zoro, for the OP fans who like Zoro instead of Zolo. And now the story! XD

"Hey, you two! Ya gotta pay for that!"

"But sir! We've already paid!"

"Well, I don't see any- HEY! COME BACK HERE!"

An eighteen year old girl and a nineteen year old looking boy ran through the crowded streets on the shores of a small island in the sea.

"I told you, Ryuu! I told you we had to pay for it!"

"And I told you, my dear sister, Zateia, we don't have any money!" Ryuu angrily replied, weaving his way through the street, ignoring the looks of other people. Zateia, about to reply, tripped over her feet and stumbled, dropping the large, egg-shaped fruit that the two had stolen. The fruit split into two.

Grabbing one half of the fruit and pulling his twin sister to her feet, Ryuu sighed and ran off. Zateia frowned and growled at him, quickly picking up the other half of the fruit and running after him.

The two met before a cavern on the white, sandy beach. They both went inside and Zateia sat on the cold, stone floor and cradled the fruit half that she picked up. Sitting next to her, Ryuu looked at his own half hungrily. Lifting it to his mouth, he started to eat it.

"Wait!" Zateia exclaimed suddenly, grabbing Ryuu's wrist. Ryuu glared at her, sighing.

"What is it?" Ryuu asked, annoyed.

"I need to ask you something."

"What!"

"Do you…" Zateia paused.

"Do I what?" Ryuu sighed.

"Do you know the muffin man?"

"Why, yes, I do-HEY! That's not the point! Why the heck are you asking me that?" Ryuu yelled.

"I just wanted to know! Sheesh! … Hey, Ryuu…"

"What!"

"You have to save that, remember?" Zateia replied, finally releasing her brother's wrist. "So we don't have to go into town often."

"Yeah, yeah…" Ryuu grumbled, rolling his eyes. "But I'm hungry so I'll only take a bite." And before Zateia could say another word, Ryuu bit into the egg-shaped fruit. He chewed for several moments, savoring the flavor of fruit. Then, he suddenly stuffed the rest of the fruit into his mouth.

"RYUU!" Zateia yelled. "What did I say about-why are you looking at my half of the fruit? … Ryuu… you're not thinking of eating my half of the fruit, are you? … Ryu-AAAH!" Ryuu lunged forward, attempting to steal Zateia's half of the fruit. Zateia screamed and fell backwards, somehow sending Ryuu to the ground. Ryuu got up, shaking his head for a bit, and then looked at the fruit hungrily.

Frightened, Zateia shoved the fruit into her mouth and ate it. At that moment, Ryuu started to moan and have spasm attacks. Zateia felt a tingling feeling on her body, like tiny bugs crawling over her. She also started feeling drowsy, and her vision got blurry. "Wh-what's going on?" Zateia closed her eyes.

Zateia passed out and went to sleep, not hearing her brother's moans of agony.

Author's Note: So, how was it? In my notebook, it's like almost 20 pages long (as much as I've written at least). It's a really strange story, so yeah. In case you didn't know, Ryuu is pronounced Ree-oo and Zateia is pronounced Zah-tay-ah. Ryuu and Zateia are twin siblings who have no home or job or anything, so they live in a cave hidden on the beach and go into town every week to steal-I mean, get some food. XD How is this a One Piece story you ask? (No you didn't, haha) Of course, the Straw Hat Pirates come in later… either second or third chapter. Well, 'til next time!
