This is a little oneshot I wrote where Boromir got a lover. Yay! This is a tenth walker AU with a female walker. Enjoy and review!

The Fellowship had been convinced that they hated each other. They were always screaming at each other and fighting, hardly friendly behavior. They, themselves hadn't seen it coming. They, themselves had thought that they had hated each other. As it turns out they had all been wrong. Every. Last. One. Of. Them. Even Gandalf hadn't known.
The day had started out regularly. They had had breakfast and continued to journey forward, each step taking them closer to Mordor. The day hadn't been too eventful until suppertime. They had decided to risk a fire since they were in somewhat safe territory for the time being.
It had started as a small argument over who should take the first watch. She had wanted to and so had he. He had begun to say that a woman shouldn't be trusted to watch over them while they slept. That's when things began to get interesting.
The argument had turned into a full out shouting match. It was good that they were out of enemy territory. The other members of the Fellowship had tried to intervene but to no avail.
Boromir advanced towards her and her towards him until they were nose to nose, staring each other down.
"You have no right!" she yelled.
"I have every right!" he shouted back.
They glared at each other for moment before doing something that shocked everyone. Boromir grabbed her by the waist gruffly and pulled her to him, kissing her passionately. She returned the kiss with the same fire and hate in it. Her fingers tangled themselves in his hair bringing their bodies closer. Finally it was over and they were glaring at each once more.
She raised her hand and slapped him. He caught her wrist and kissed her again, this time with even more feeling and frustration if possible. She kissed back, hungrily and when they pulled away you could see the need in their eyes.
He took her arm and dragged her away, glaring at the rest of the Fellowship to show that they shouldn't be disturbed.
"Guess neither is taking the first watch tonight," Aragorn commented.
