I would give anything
Just to have one moment with you
I would give anything
Just to spend one night with you
~~~~~~
You're so beautiful. I can see you walk past every day, and it makes me want to cry. But how can I, the tough guy, cry about a girl?
Not to mention you're the enemy. Or so my father says. Yes, that father who imposes his beliefs on me. I never said I wanted to be like him. Dammit! It's what they all expect.
~~~~~~
I would give anything
To lie there in your arms
I would give anything
To have you keep me safe from harm
~~~~~~
You're untouchable. That's how I see you. Like a glacier, so much below the surface, but I can't touch you, because then I'd never be able to let go.
Yeah I'd give all that I have
If I could have you in return
But I can't,
And it burns
~~~~~~
Draco stared absentmindedly as Crabbe and Goyle laughed at some poor Hufflepuff as they fell over. Frankly, he was getting tired of the endless repetoire of snide comments and cruel jokes. What was it, five and a half years now? He stood up suddenly.
"I'm going to the owlery. No, don't get up" he said as they made as if to leave their chairs. "I don't need you to hold my hand." He stalked past them, pale Malfoy nose pointed high in the air.

Harry, Ron and Hermione watched Draco sweep past their table. Ron snorted as he left the hall.
"Bloody Malfoys, stalking round like they're god damn royalty." Hermione and Harry grinned understandingly. None of the trio noticed the furtive glance cast at Draco be a fellow Gryffindor as they too left the table.

Draco stormed into the owlery. Whistling pierciingly, he called down his own tawny owl down from the rafters. When he came to rest on Draco's wrist, he couldn't for the life of him remember why he'd come up here. He stroked Barin's feathers.
"At least I can talk to you Barin. Even if you are a bird."
*******
(AN: yeah i know im chopping and changing but just settle...)
The Gryffindor who had left the table peered around the owlery's door, which Draco had left ajar. She saw him, with his back to the door stroking his owl. She tried to open the door silently, but it let out a loud squeal on its inadequately oiled hinges. Draco spun around, startling his owl into flight.
"What the..." he began. The Gryffindor took a deep, quavering breath, and kissed him.
AN: MWUHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'll never tell you who the *Gryffindor* is!!! NEVER!!! (well, maybe next chapter)
