Author Note: Happy Halloween everyone! This will be a one take storyline for this couple. I hope that you enjoy it. I finally figured out the plot line for this storyline. The Halloween chapter for A secret Daughter will be posted next Monday.
Kurt woke up that morning knowing that he wanted to do a surprise for Jane for Halloween. She just would not know that it was coming. He had already talked to the whole team that would not tell her the plan for their date night. He headed to the locker room to find his girlfriend sitting there waiting for him
"What do you have plan?" Jane asked him.
"For what?" Kurt asked her. Jane could tell that he was planning something.
"Don't play dumb with me. I know that you have something planned." Jane responded to him. He could tell that she was not playing around by asking that.
"Jane, I am telling you that I have nothing planned for us." Kurt responded to her with a smile. He knew that she did not believe him.
"Kurt, I know that you are not telling me the truth about this." Jane responded to him. Kurt watched as she got up and headed out the locker room.
Patterson walked into the lab right as Jane was walking into the room.
"Do you know what he has planned?" Jane asked Patterson.
"No I don't." Patterson lied to her.
"You are lying. Trust me that you are worst of a liar than Kurt is." Jane responded to her friend.
"I am not lying about it. I don't know if he has planned." Patterson replied to her friend.
"You are lying." Jane responded to her before leaving the room.
Jane moved where she could see Kurt or Patterson go and talk. She was right after a few moments when she watched Kurt walked into the room. She managed to get in there with no one seeing.
"We can't talk about this here. She might come in." Kurt revealed to her.
"Talk about what? I know that you guys are hiding something. Kurt, please just tell me the truth?" Jane asked him.
"Sweetheart, It is a surprise." Kurt responded to her as he took her out of Patterson's office. They ended up working a case and Kurt could tell that she was upset with him by the cold shoulder.
Tasha walked over to Jane and was wondering why she was so upset by this.
"Hey are you okay?" Tasha asked her friend.
"Yeah, I am fine." Jane responded to her.
"Jane, I can tell that something is going on with you. Why don't we go get some drinks and talk about it?" Tasha said to her before Kurt walked up to them.
"It is okay, Tasha. I got her." Kurt responded to her.
"Okay." Tasha responded to him as she watched them leave.
"I am sorry that I did not let you know about this. I wanted this date night to be a surprise for you to enjoy." Kurt said as he lead her to the car. He got in the car himself and headed to their location.
"So now that we are going there, can you lease tell me?" She asked him.
"I guess that it would not hurt." He responded to her as he started to tell her. They were heading to a Haunted house. He was leaving things out to make sure that it was surprised to her. He wanted to asked her to be his wife.
"and you could not tell me that?" Jane asked him.
"Because, I wanted to completely surprise you on this trip." Kurt responded to her
They got to the location and headed inside. Kurt did not picture her to be scare but she was a little. He could feel her tightening on his hand.
"It's okay." He said to her as they got to a location where there was a bride with a sign. He went down to one knee and asked her to marry him. "Will you marry me?"
"Yes." Jane responded to him. The team joined the newly engaged couple. They were so happy for Jane and Kurt.
