Weight of the world

I'm not supposed to be scared of anything
But I don't know where i am

A lone figure stood at the top of a high tower.

I wish that I could move, but im exhausted
And nobody understands
how i feel

All that had happened was just too much. It was overwhelming him with grief and guilt. Tears were flowing down his pale face, from starling green eyes. A sudden gush of wind revealed a scar shaped like a lightning bolt under his jet-black fringe.

I'm trying hard to breathe now,
But there's no air in my lungs
There's no-one here to talk to
And the pain inside is making me numb

It was all his fault - Sirius, Cedric, and now once again he had slipped up. Two more people were to be added to the list. And his parents - that was his fault too.

Try to hold this under control
You can't help me now
'cause no-one knows.

He stepped up to the edge of the tower.

Feelin' weak and weary
walkin' through this world alone

Cuts me to the bone
And i bleed

And it started to rain

I've got something to say

underneath all the weight of the world

He put down the suicide note he had written, just in case there was anyone left to care. So what if he had finally defeated Voldemort? He had lost them. That was all that mattered. He didn't want to live in a world without Ron and Hermione. It just wasn't right. They were his friends. He needed them.

So he jumped.

There was a girl's scream as he fell but Harry Potter had no regrets. Then he hit the hard ground.

The pain was gone.
