So once again the world had totally managed to throw itself into total misalignment. The world was once again at the point of possibly ending. A new war had just begun to probably begin and this one was promising to be a big one. Another war that possibly beginning of course the world refused to accept a new war was brewing. No one wanted to feel that the world was once again going to possibly be in shambles. Germany seemed to be dangerously taking over the world and at alarming rate. So this is how the setting is in our little tale that takes place in the Great War today known as WW II.

England was right now thinking of entering the war with the threat to the wellbeing of the country right across the English Channel. So within a short amount of time a draft had been sent out to all young men 18 and over to join the efforts. Arthur was not fighting instead he was running a tavern that his family had held for generations. A small little tavern located along the Thames River with the other shop fronts. It was named the Blue Sprit mainly as a tribute to the said ghost to live in the tavern. Arthur had a fondness for the occult.

Recently the French had joined the English in the offensive against the German threat. Damn Krauts if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have to work with those bloody French bastards. Arthur had a certain disdain for the French he found them possibly the most arrogant shellfish pricks in the entire world and they made the Americans seem polite and perfect. Arthur sighed and looked around the bar as he lazily was wiping all the glasses clean. There were soldiers from various places mainly now there were French soldiers. Arthur screwed his face up slightly in distaste for his clients but he couldn't be too picky in these troubled times he would need all the customers he could get. With business down severely due to the daily threats of bombs and attacks by Germans local patronage seemed to be at home more often and weren't going out a lot. So the customers that seemed to come were soldiers from other countries stopping in England before going on to Germany to go off to fight.
