Mary-Sue was not happy as she walked away from the house she shared with Team Urameshi, although they had never once in the series shared a house before and there's no real reason for them to other than to satisfy Mary-Sue and her authoress. Delicate tears streamed down her perfect face, not contorted one bit in sadness, as that would be a flaw, and everyone knows a Mary-Sue has no flaw. Her eyes were not red and puffy either, and the tears brought out her bright purple, completely inhuman eyes, this hue blamed on the fact that she had psychic abilities.

Mary-Sue sat at the edge of a river, an odd place to sit considering how usually a Sue cried in front of a character so that he or she could pity her. But her authoress chose for her to sit here so she could prove to her readers how well she could write scenery. While the authoress went into a rant about said surroundings, a fast moving river, knee-height grasses, and the rocky, fifteen-foot ledge Mary-Sue was sitting on, the Sue waited patiently, clutching the grass in unhappiness. Finally, the authoress finished her rant.

"Why won't he love me?" Mary-Sue whined in her beautiful voice that was in no way distorted by her crying. "Why? Why oh why?"

The Sue continued to sob and sob, secretly thinking of the different paths her authoress could take in deciding her fate. Perhaps Hiei would see this and feel bad, thus declaring his love to her and admitting he'd just been scared to say it before? Or maybe another character would come, although there had been no hints of future relationships between her and any other characters.

Mary-Sue sniffled, wiping her eyes, then looked down to the river as a thought popped in her mind. Her head cocked to the side like a puppy then she looked up at the sky questioningly, wondering what the authoress could be thinking. Then understanding washed over her. Of course. If she jumped into the river, Hiei would feel bad THEN save her and love her forever. Oh, and it'll make her feel better, despite the sharp rocks destined to be in the river and the others placed along the sides on the cliff. It would be impossible to avoid them with the swift current. Not to mention that she could easily drown. Oh and had no clue where this river led to.

The Sue fought the urge to shrug in a 'what-the-hell' manner or to grin in anticipation of Hiei's coming affection and broke into sobs again, after all, she had to keep the mood. Mary-Sue pushed herself over the edge.

The currents picked up and she was swept away. The water invaded her lungs. She gurgled in an attempt to scream. Frantically, she looked to the heavens. Where was her authoress? Then she felt it. The authoress had not seen this coming. Reality had taken over, and the Sue's death was inevitable.

The Yu Yu gang all stood from their crouched positions from their hiding place in the grass, having witnessed the scene that had just occurred. And they did much rejoice. The world of Yu Yu Hakusho was safe once more.
