A Tsubasa Quick Fic

Which is basically what I'm gonna call it when I write a oneshot less than one thousand or so words.

Heart

There was something always nagging Sakura at the back of her mind. But she just couldn't figure out what. It was there whenever she walked through the street with Fai, smiling brightly as he talked about what he'd done that day. It was there when she watched Kurogane and Syaoran training hard, and it was there when she went to bed at night, cuddling Mokona close.

It was there.

She could feel it.

She just didn't know what it was.

It was trying to tell her something.

Turn, she would think she heard it say, but when she turned, it would only ever be Syaoran, who would pause when she looked at him, the overly concered boy already looking worried, afraid something was wrong with her. After the princess would smile, he would smile back, and go on with whatever he'd been doing.

Remember, it would say, but she didn't know what it wanted her to remember. She was getting her memories back as fast as she, (Syaoran) could, but no matter how much she remembered, the feeling never went away.

Sometimes, at the end of the day, after Syaoran had gone through hell to get her her feather back, she would sit on her bed, thinking of his smiling face as he passed her white and pink feather. She would picture the cuts on his face, the bruises on his skin, and as she did, her head would explode with the feeling.

Remember! It would scream inside her, and she would try, and try, but she never could, and in the end, she would curl up in her bed and cry silently, never loudly enough to cry, because how could she cry when Syaoran and the others had worked so hard to make her happy?

There was just something wrong with everything, and she just didn't know what.

And it was horrible.

She had to get to the bottom of it.

No matter what.
