So I listened to the song 'Far Away' by Nickelback and got inspired. So it's 2 years after the end of season 4. Emily was involved in a car accident and has been in a coma for 3 months. Naomi visits everyday to talk to her.

Naomi sat by Emily's bedside just like she did everyday. it was the same routine. she would come in, play some music, talk to her, hold her hand and then go home for the night. she used to cry, but after 2 months the tears had dried up, so now all that was left was hope. hope that she'll wake up. so she sat there and waited for the last song of the day to end. finally it did and she looked at Emily. she looked pale and thin.
"hey Ems," the talking never got easier. "so i need you to wake up soon yeah, cuz i love you, you know that right? i know i've made mistakes, i've messed up so many times. but i never stopped loving you, and i know that you never stopped loving me either.
your mum came to talk to me today, to be honest i was scared, but it was alright. she said she was sorry, that if you wake up shes gonna try and except the fact that your gay, and shes gonna try excepting me too. i told her that when you wake up you'll be pleased.
Cooks release date is in a week, he's thrilled. he hates it in there. he says the first thing he's gonna do is throw a party and that you had better be awake and home by then. i told him it was impossible, even if you did wake up by then you'd still have to be kept here for recovery.
Effys getting better. Katie says shes leaving the past behind her, she says shes laughing more and more each day. i don't really know about Panda and Thomas, they're still in america. and JJs still at oxford." she looked at the clock on the wall. only 20 minutes left. she held Emily's hand in her own and kissed the back of it. she reached forward and stroked Emily's cheek.
"so Ems, you've got to come back to me, because i've loved you for so long, since i was 12 remember. i don't think i could live without you, and i'm not just saying that and i know i sound like a cliche, but it's true. i meant what i said though. i'd die for you, just to be with you. i would gladly go through hell just to get you back Ems. i would give anything if you would just wake up.
so just wake up Ems. wake up. im not going anywhere. im not running like i used to. i'm still here and i always will be. i'm not gonna let you go. please don't let me go. please wake up." she lay her head on the side of the bed. she was exhausted, but she wasn't giving up, she would never give up.
she felt something move in her hand. her head shot up. she looked at the hand in hers as it twitched slightly. she quickly looked up in time to see Emily slowly blinking her eyes open.
