Miku gritted her teeth.

It was Valentine's Day, and Gakupo hadn't given her ANYTHING! Instead, he'd bought sweets for that new girl, Luka.

It irked her.

Sure, she and Gakupo were no longer together anymore, but he was still hers.

Her property.

Her plaything.

And Luka would never take that away from her, no matter how hard she tried.

Suddenly, Miku had an idea.

Ever since she was young, Miku had been obssessed with sweets.

No matter how sweet anything was, Miku would eat it without flinching, whereas others whould have immediately thrown up at the sickly sweet smell.

It was never sweet enough for her.

When she was seven, her mother taught her how to make a cake from scratch. Ever since then, she baked a cake whenever she was depressed, angry, or just plain bored. It soothed her.

Miku smiled as she took out the red velvet cake from the oven. She set it on the counter, letting it cool. Miku yanked off her apron and grabbed a small glass vial and a handkerchief. Putting on her jacket, she walked out the door.

Gakupo walked down the street toward Luka's house, excited. He hadn't known the girl for a month, and already he was falling for her. Smiling, he sang Luka's favorite song under his breath.

Kabosoi hi ga kokoro no hashi ni tomoru

Itsu no ma ni ka moehirogaru netsujou

Watashi no chou fukisoku ni tobimawari

Anata no te ni rinpun o tsuketa-

Suddenly, he felt something close over his mouth. Gakupo struggled to breathe.

Oh god, I'm gonna die... Help! Somebody!

No one came.

Gakupo passed out in Miku's arms.

Miku smiled.

At home, Miku spread the dark red cream onto the cake. Smiling, she licked a bit of it off her finger. Under her breath, she sang the next line in the song Gakupo had been singing.

Karamiau yubi hodoite

Kuchibiru kara shita e to

Yurusarenai koto naraba

Naosara moeagaru no~

She placed two purple orbs onto her piece. She recited the next line in the song.

Dakiyosete hoshii tashikamete hoshii

Machigai nado nai n da to omowasete

Kisu o shite nurikaete hoshii

Miwaku no toki ni yoishire oborete itai no~

Smiling, Miku stabbed her fork into one of the fingers that were on top of the cake. Blood oozed out of the wound. Smirking, she licked the blood.

Miku picked up one of Gakupo's eyes and popped it into her mouth. Smiling, she munched on the eyeball. Miku tossed gakupo's left index finger into her mouth and chewed.

It was the sweetest thing she had ever tasted.

Gakupo was declared missing five days later.

When asked if she knew about his whereabouts, Miku would just smile and point to her stomach. It annoyed everyone, and many called her crazy.

They never figured out that she was telling the truth.
