I don't own Percy Jackson :(

CalypsoPOV

"No! Really. I have no idea how I got here!" Leo says, the picture of sincerity. But I don't believe him.

"Yeah. You just happened to find the mythical island that never appears twice, again." I say.

"Well- Yeah, I guess so. Maybe I did have something to do with the general direction I pointed- " Leo goes on to say something else, but I'm to busy staring at him. He hasn't changed within the few months he was gone, he was still tall, still had his curly black hair, and the look of a sailor that's always out at sea. He still has that adorable mischievous look about him, and that ridiculous belt that has all his stuff.

But I could also see the changes in him. He seems more mature than when he first appeared on my island, and he has become less scrawny, and more lean.

There's this sadness in his eyes. Of course, there always had been, but it was almost impossible to see. Now, even though he smiles, he still has that spot in his eyes that show he's not as innocent as he looks. The spot that shows that he's seen horrors, too.

"-And I just made a deal with the gods that if I could find you within five years, I would be immortal and get to take you away from this island if you wished, and if I couldn't, I would forfeit my life to the gods." He continues, not even noticing my shocked and dazed expression that I know is on my face.

"Wait, what?" I screech.

"Well, it was the only way to get them to agree, and I know five years would've been a long wait, but it was as long as they would go for, and-"

"No, no. What was that part about you forfeiting your life?" I ask not so calmly.

"Oh, well, yeah. It was a no brainier for me. I mean, I even swore on the Styx, you think I could, or even would've tried to get out of it?" He replies back in a nervous tone.

"Ugh! Of course it was a no brainier for you. You have no brain. Did you ever think how your death might have effected everyone around you? Huh? Your parents? Percy? Me?" I ask, only to see him slightly wince.

"No. I didn't think of anyone else's reaction, but I knew if I didn't get here in time, I would never see you again." He says guiltily. "And my mom's dead. Has been for a long time."

Now it's my turn to feel guilty.

"Oh, I had no idea! I'm so sor-" He cuts of my flustered rambling with a kiss.

"It's OK." He says softly, after he pulls away. And I see such tenderness in his eyes that I yank him back down and kiss him harder.
