The Truth

"Kurosaki-kun, you can't deny that very soon they're all going to be involved in this."

"You worry too much Ishida, they don't need to know."

"How can you say that, Arisawa's been attacked several times already, she has a right to know."

"It would only worry them needlessly, they can't defend themselves so what can they do?"

"They can learn! They all get that wash out of reitsu that's constantly leaking off you, they probably have enough power to start fighting hollows!"

"Just because you were raised to fight the undead doesn't mean they can."

"They deserve the truth!"

"They can't handle the truth!"

"We should at least try."

"Go ahead I won't stop you."

"You won't? Fine then."

The dark haired Quincy mounted a nearby chair to face the rest of the class. When everybody kept talking he cleared his throat. When the chatter still didn't stop he called out. And after about a minute of waving his arms and shouting over everyone, he finally got their attention. Trying to regain some lost dignity he began.

"Now you may have been noticing some unusual behavior in Kurosaki, Kuchiki, Inoue, Sado and myself. Leaving class all the time, seen weilding unusal weapons. This is because we are fighting undead spirits called 'hollows'. Normally I wouldn't tell you this but... Mizuiru, what are you doing?"

Mizuiro's hand was on Ishida's forehead, checking his temperature.

"Are you sure you feel alright Ishida-kun? You haven't had any nasty bumps to the head recently?"

Soon the class was abuzz with talk like "I always knew he was a bit weird" and "What can you expect of a loner like him"

Ishida appealed to his blond haired friend, begging him to tell them about the shinigami and what he did. Ichigo responded by saying that he had no idea what Ishida-kun was talking about. Ishida got a little more animated trying to tell the class that they would all have their souls consumed if they didn't listen to him. Which was a good moment for the teacher to walk in. On inquiring as to why Ishida was standing on a chair, she received the same appeals to believe him. Kuchiki Rukia, thinking this had gone just far enough tapped Ishida on the shoulder.

"If you don't want to be dragged off in a padded wagon, you should quit now."
