Today is the day. The day when I move from the Sun and into to the cold and wet that is Forks. I'm going to miss Phoenix and all that is with. Most of all I will miss my mom, Renee, but I want her to be happy so I'm going to live with Charlie, my dad. Renee just married Phil and he travels a lot. Although she wouldn't mind staying with me at home I know she will be much happier with him. "Bella, are you ready? Your flight is going to leave soon, but dear if you've changed your mind it's not too late." Renee said from my doorway. "No mom. I'm going to Forks. I haven't seen dad since I was 14 and I'm now 17. It'll be fine mom." I lied. "Well I'm going to miss you baby. Promise to call me when you get there." She said with tears in her eyes while hugging me. "I'll call you. I promise." I promised sincerely.

"Dad, I love the truck! Honestly it's great and perfect for me. Thank you!" I told Charlie. The truck really was perfect for me with its bulbous front and red paint. "Well I'm glad you like it Bella. Treat it with respect." Charlie said to me with a smile. "Okay dad. What do you want for supper? I'm going to cook." I said smiling. I was used to cooking, because Renee wasn't that good at it so I did most of the cooking. "Bells you don't have to. We can go out and eat." He told me. I looked at him, "Okay dad, but I'm cooking tomorrow."

We pulled into the little diner in Forks and got out. We hadn't talked much since Charlie gave me the truck, but I knew we wouldn't really talk much. Charlie was more of the silent type and I was more like him then Renee in that sense. We walked into the diner and the first thing I saw were a group of teenagers. They were all gorgeous, but one stood out the most with his odd bronze hair sticking in all directions and beautiful green eyes. He was hot to say the least. He looked up at me and I blushed looking down in embarrassment. I turned to Charlie and followed him to a table by the window. We sat down and started to look at the menus, but I dared a look at his table again. I wish I hadn't have looked there, because all of them were staring at me. "Bella what do you want?" Charlie asked me, snapping my vision back to him. "Umm.. The garden salad, I guess." I replied looking at my menu again and nodding my head. Charlie gave our orders to the waitress at our table. She scribbled on her notepad then walked away. All of a sudden the little blacked haired girl from the table came walking towards my table. She smiled brightly at me, "Hi, my name is Alice Brandon. You must be new here. I just wanted to introduce myself. You seem shy so tomorrow at school I wanted to invite you to sit with my friends and I at lunch. Will you? Please. What's your name?" She asked. I was actually a little shocked. I didn't expect to be asked by someone I didn't know , but I was thankful also. I looked at her and smiled saying, "My name is Bella Swan. I would love to sit with you and your friends tomorrow." She squealed, "Okay! Great! Well we are about to leave, but I will see you tomorrow at school. Oh and here is my number in case you need anything or you want to talk. Bye Bella!" She skipped away to her friends and they left, but not before the bronze haired boy looked at me and smirked. I smiled back at him and raised an eyebrow. He faltered for a second, but then kept going. Charlie and I finished our meal and went back home. "So Bella, it looks like you have a new friend." He said when we walked in. "I hope so. I could use one. Well I'm going to bed. Night dad." I waved and ran up stairs to my room. "Night Bells." He hollered up the stairs. I ran to my room and changed for bed. I quickly fell into a deep sleep.
