"Wait a second," Gabby said, her eye narrowing "do you hear that?" Everyone stopped talking, and few dared even to breathe. Catherine spotted the source of the noise first. Grabbing hold of a heavy table, she flung it over her shoulder to crash into splinters against the wall. Now revealed to them was the small child no older than four. He looked up fear in his eyes at his family's killers. "I'll fix this right now!" Catherine said grinning cruelly as she brought her boot up over the tiny alien. It rolled over onto its back, flaccid limbs flailing desperately. "Time to meet your maker!" "Stop please!" The voice that came from the child's throat was high pitched and ragged. "Please, stop, I didn't do anything wrong!" "Yeah, but I'm about to do something really wrong to you!" Catherine told it, a cruel gleam in her eye. "Kill it, Cat!" Gabby shouted "don't give it a chance to do anything!" "My pleasure" Catherine chuckled darkly again raising her boot into the air and kicking the creature hard with her steel toe. It landed hard on the ground, writhing and shrieking. Her booted foot placed itself neatly on its head, her weight pressing down as if to test how strong a child's skull truly was and in the same breath, pinning it to the cold ground. Another grin held her face as she spoke in a fair voice to no one in particular, "I wonder how much of my boot you can take." The creature beneath her booted feet screamed and howled as Catherine slowly pressed down with her boot, the corner of her lip turned upward with sadistic pleasure. Its arms beat wildly into the ground on either side of it's body, clawing and scratching at the thick leather that kept its head pinned. Its pathetic attempts to escape only served to arouse Catherine even more as she pressed down even harder. A wry grin spreads across Catherine's face as she feels the thing lose its form under her boot and she puts more weight into her step, the bone and flesh giving way under her foot with a loud, satisfying crunch.  She lets out a cruel cackle at the sound and grinds her boot down onto the ground.
