Jade was not the kind of girl that ever showed emotion. It was hard for her because as a young child she had been hurt before. She felt like if she didn't show emotion she couldn't be hurt anymore.
((Flashback))
"You're not worthy to be a West," her father told her, "Go sit away from us"
Jade went upstairs crying. Why did her family stop loving her
((Flashback ends))
"Jade?"
She was crying in her sleep. Beck gently woke her up.
"Jade… you okay?"
She nodded.
"I'm fine," she said, "You love me again"
Beck looked at her
"Okay what did you mean by that," Beck asked
"Nothing," Jade said, "It doesn't matter. You love me again. That's all that matters"
"What do you mean again? When did I stop loving you?"
"Last night. You stopped loving me for five minutes"
'Where is this coming from,' Beck thought

She sat on the steps thinking only one thought. Soon I'll be loved again. Sooon, soon I'll be loved again. I won't cry. Crying won't make him love me any sooner. Soon I will be loved again. I just need to remember this. Soon, soon I will be loved again. Soon I will be loved again"

She just smiled.
"You love me again"
"I never stopped loving you. What's this about babe?"
He put an arm around her. She told him about her family. She told him about what they had done. He was horrified that she would be thinking like that.
"Jade I love you. I don't always like everything you do but there will never be a minute when I don't love you. For Bade sakes there will never be a second when I don't love you. How could I not love you? Jade without you my life would be pointless. You give my life meaning. You give my life purpose. You are my life. You don't have to earn my love. I never would have gotten so impatient with you if I had known what you've been through."
"You mean your love isn't a reward"
"No," he said kissing her.
