Esca – rant: Merle's lack of underwear.
Authors notes: Why I am doing this I have no idea! That is all I can say, apart from the fact it needs to be done!!!! Still it is late at night and I am bored stiff, I need something to complain about, its only Tuesday and I already wish my life was over, that usually only happens on a Thursday, damn these knots in my shoulders, damn them all!!!!!!!! I need a holiday, if anybody out there on FF.net is willing to buy me a plane ticket to South Africa, I would gladly accept!!!!!Anywho please review, you don't have to be nice about it, but nice ones would be nice.

Merle's lack of underwear.
Is there a specific reason why Merle refuses to wear underwear? Or is it one of those things the animators add to make the series look slightly perverted? This may remain one of the biggest mysteries of Escaflowne.
The matter is made worse by the fact that Merle flashes her behind at anyone every possible chance that she gets, maybe she thinks it makes her seem more threatening, it would be understandable because of her tail, but come on people, underwear can adjusted, its not that hard. Surely, if the writers of Escaflowne were sane, someone like Van or Allen or Hitomi would say something, I mean they must cringe every time she turns her back to them. I mean no offense to her, but Cat girl butt can't be a pretty sight!!
Not only that, but she wears the shortest dress I have ever seen, maybe it would be an idea to get Allen to add another few inches to it (sorry to all those Allen fans, but Allen in a pink frilly apron stitching, is such a cute thought), or shorts, she could put a pair of shorts on, I am sure Hitomi has a stray pair hanging around in her duffle bag somewhere.
And how long has this been going on? And why in the years that it has, has Van not asked her to cover up? It must seem strange that nobody has noticed, I mean it does stick out like a sore thumb, I have respect for Merle, but surely she could have a bit of respect for herself. Its not like she cant afford it, she lives with a King for god sake, she could have designer, its an all win situation, Merle gets designer underwear and we get mild hentai free Escaflowne, who could complain?
So I leave you to think about the situation, you decided what you want, in my opinion, Merle needs to sort out her underwear problem, maybe she has a phobia towards it. Or maybe its because she is a cancer, I hear they are a strange bunch!!!
