Ch. 1: Medieval Fun
Deep in the Ghost Zone, Dora Mattingly's Realm is hosting its annual Renaissance Fair. There were booths for food, jewelry, clothes, and other souvenirs. Everyone there is dressed in the Medieval Fashion of their choice. Lilly and her friends were also at the fair. They were at the "Ye Olde Fashion" booth to try on their costumes. Skulker is in a Ranger costume, with a bow-and-arrow to match; Ember is in a black maiden dress; Technus is dressed as a duke with a white cape; and Box Ghost, much to his disdain, is dressed in a dark blue and light blue jester costume. They were waiting for Lilly, Max, and Carlos to come out with their costumes on.
"Why did I get stuck with the Jester Suit?" Box Ghost asked with a pout.
"Box Ghost, that was the only costume that would fit you, next to the Quasimodo costume," Technus explained.
Max was next to come out f the fitting booth. She is wearing a red huntress costume.
"How do I look?" Maxed asked the Ghosts.
"Looking good, Max," Ember said with a thumbs up.
Carlos is next. He's dressed in a blue Cavalier costume with a sword to match.
"You look very dashing, Carlos," Skulker complimented.
"Thanks, Skulker," Carlos thanked, "You think Lilly will like it?"
"I don't see why not," Max said.
Finally, Lilly came out of the fitting booth. She is in a beautiful, purple, long gown and a jewel-encrusted tiara.
"What do you guys think of my Princess costume?" Lilly asked.
Carlos gawked with wonder and awe. Then he stuttered nervously and fainted.
"What's wrong with Carlos?" Lilly asked with concern.
"Uh…the atmosphere of the Ghost Zone got to him," Technus lied, "He'll be fine."
Moments later, they were looking around the fair. Max was busy talking to Carlos about Lilly and the Upcoming Homecoming Dance.
"So Carlos, have you asked Lilly to Homecoming yet?" Max asked.
"No," Carlos sighed, "Each time I do, I get nervous and faint. You don't know what it's like to feel strongly about something can't let it out."
"Carlos, she already likes you," Max reminded him.
"As a friend, Max. She's Lilly Phantom. She can have any guy she wants."
What they don't know is that they are being watched via crystal ball by Prince Aragon.
"Indeed, Young Man," Aragon snickered, "And that is why she will soon have a prince!"
Aragon laughs evilly.
