"What!"

"What is the matter Robin?"

I was excited to see you in that bikini Star', but you just had to go and put Silkie in it, didn't you!"

"Robin, I do not understand."

"I'm done Star'. I'm going back to the tower.

Robin rushed back to Titan Tower. He thought it was obvious that he had feelings for Starfire, but apparently, not obvious enough. He felt depressed and crushed. There was no way in hell that Starfire felt the same way. Robin went into his room, saying the password for the door, and slept.

Robin awoke two hours later, only to find that Starfire was sitting on the edge of his bed.

"Star'! How did you know the password to get.. Mmph!

She had kissed him!

Robin awoke, looking around frantically for Starfire, but she wasn't there. It was just a dream. He wished that it hadn't been, and then he realized that Starfire was not only his friend, but his team mate. If any of that had actually happened, how would it have affected the rest of the team?

"I'm an asshole. How could I put myself before the rest of the team?"

Plus, there was no time, or room, in Robin's life for romance. They had an entire citty to protect. Love would only get int he way of that duty. He pondered if it was even love that he felt for Starfire. It could just have easily been lust. No, he didn't see Starfire as a sex object. He saw her as a kind, loving, beautiful, alien girl. and lust could not ruin his view of her. He truly felt love for this girl, and he had to face the music and accept that she didn't feel the same.
