Normal, its not easy to be. I speak from experience. When I was younger my mom would tell me to try to fit in best I could, So I did. For her, I wasn't very good at it though. By the time I was 14 she died or more of disappeared, no one knows what happened to her. I've never met my dad, there was only one person I could count on Braiten, a kid who I befriended at age 13 mom always said he was a bad influence, she was right, but after she disappeared I didn't care any more. I was free to be the person I am now, an angels worst nightmare. now at age 17 I'm still just as bad if not worse. Its nothin0g for me to steal, lie, cheat, or worst of all abuse random people. Braiten is the same way.

huh, oh, great a new neighbor, this will be fun. Then I see him tall, with curly blonde hair. he catches me staring and stares right back at me. " Alec " a girl calls out but our eyes stay glued to each other "stop staring at creepy goth girl and help me with the boxes." his green eyes dart to the ground. He then goes back to helping carry boxes.

I close my window then head to the front door. when I open it I see Braiten standing there, I was about to let him in when something strange happened he disappeared. I take a step forward and everything changes its deathly hot and i'm right in front of a giant pyramid "welcome to Egypt " I turn around to see Braiten standing there.

"Braiten what are we doing in Egypt?" I ask as I turn taking in the landscape

"Meria does this place seem familiar to you" now that I think about it, this place does seem familiar. I slightly nod and a smile comes across his face " I knew it!" his face lights up from his excitement. "after all this time who new it be you" wait what is he talking about " I cant believe its you " he bows in front of me the tourist see this and they all bow too " Meria your highness your king Anubis's daughter."

"Anubis's daughter?" I shake my head violently "n-no that's impossible"

"Think about it, you've never met your dad that's because he's your father. Don't you feel at rest if not glad when good people die" I give a slight awkward nod "that's because your soul knows where they are going"

"Then how come I'm human huh?" I'm trying to pile up as much evidence as I can against me being Anubis's daughter.

"That's because you're not, you're a demi-god, half human and half god" he explains. "still don't believe it? Follow me" he heads into the pyramid, I follow. Once we enter the pyramid everything lights up with a dull white glow. D-Did I do this?

"What is going on? Braiten, why is the temple glowing?" I'm not one to get afraid easily, but fear is dripping from my soul.

"The temple is reacting to you. This is Anubis's earthly home, and it's recognizing you as one of its own.

OMG OMG OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGG "I'm Anubis's daughter."
