The bright red plain chair was just sitting there in the middle of the room. Kyou Sohma loved the chair but know he looked at it wearily. The chair, which he got on his fourth birthday, was cherished. As he grew the chair never got too small. The chair was also a key sign he was there, Kagura knew this. Kagura's Zodiac sign was the boar and all they said was true. Kagura liked Kyou, Kyou did not like Kagura but he was not leaving without his little red chair. He then walked out from his hiding place slowly, if I may say so. Kagura saw him out of the corner of her eye and began beating him up happily and without mercy as her form of greeting.
"KYYOOOUU, MY LOVE!"
"STOP IT KAGURA!" A flash of light came from around the corner, a camera Kyou presumed. Surely enough there they were, it was Shigure and Ayame Sohma. They were just tip of the iceberg.
"Gure-san, what do we have here?"
"Aaya, I do believe we have little Kyou- kun getting beat up by Kagura- san."
"Konnichiwa, Shii-chan and Ayame" Kagura said politely as if the scene before had never happened. Tohru came into the main room.
"Tohru" Kagura growled angrily. Boyfriend snatcher she thought.
"Oh, Konnichiwa Kagura-san" Tohru said smiling completely unaware of the situation around her. Before Tohru even got the chance to greet the others Ritsu and Mitsuru come into the room looking panicked as usual.
"Oh, Ritchan, Mii-chan, how unexpected, well not really I thought I heard frantic screams." Shigure laughed. Mitsuru had come to pick up Shigure's manuscript for he was an author and poor Mitsuru was his editor. Ritsu had come for … well Mitsuru's sanity. Not that either of them had much of it.
"SENSEI, I NEED THE MANUSCRIPT! IT WAS DUE YESTERDAY! WHY CAN'T YOU EVER MEET YOUR DEADLINES!"
"Oh, is that so I'm sorry, if a certain Ritsu hadn't visited yesterday I might have had it" Shigure said smiling for he had completed the manuscript last week.
"I'M SORRY, GOMEN NASAI! I SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR SUCH THING.I'M SORRY!" The couple began to run around the room in full fledged panic. Kyou was about to lose it too. All he wanted was to get the red chair and go back to his room and leave the rest of the family to their everyday craziness. He got up, slowly moved towards the red chair and went to his room. He placed the chair down where it promptly fell apart. Kyou began to laugh and when he was done proceeded to scream at the top of his lungs. Yup, it was just another day at the Sohma estate.
