Okay, as predicted by my blog thingy/ story keeper a-tracker thing, here is a short one-shot for Alvin and the Chipmunks!

Alvin looked around as he leaned down on one knee taking out a shovel. He shoved the trowel into the soft dirt. Pulling out a large flower out of the ground, he looked around cautiously. Putting the flower, roots and all in a bag he brought with him.

"Hey!" A voice yelled from behind him.

"Drat caught." He thought to himself. He turned around to see his new neighbor Ms. Cattywalk.

"Alvin, just what do you think your doing with those flowers!"

"Um, getting them... for... a class project?"

"I'm not that stupid Alvin, why do you have the sunflower."

"As I said, it's a class project.. were experimenting on sun flowers and why their called.. uh, sun flowers."

"Okay, I don't know what your up to Alvin but just take the flower and go, please don't take any more."

"Will do Ms. Cattywalk!" He sneaked off to the garage. Pulling out a pot to put the sunflower in. Simon waled into the garage, immediately accessing the situation.

"What are you doing with Ms. Cattywalks sunflower?" He asked as he looked it over.

"Oh, it's a … present."

"For Brittany?"

"NO! No way, ew!"

"Ah, I understand. Good luck." He said as he walked back into the house.

Alvin muttered frustrated words under his breath. He walked over a few houses to the Millers. He looked up at the large house of which Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor lived.

"Geeze, Brittany, I don't know why I'm doing this." He muttered to himself, though it was as if Brittany was standing there. "I don't know why but I think your pretty cool."

He put the plant down on the doorstep. Pausing. Then pushing it forward in a shy school boy way. Though he was almost never shy, he was shy one one topic, his liking of Brittany.

Yes they often fought, angered each other, and more often ended up hating each other than liking each other, he still liked her, a lot. That half of her was what made him like her. She made him think. Something Alvin would cringe at doing any other time. It was a curse really.

He walked up to the door, rang the bell, and ran off into the bushes. Suddenly a thought struck him, he hadn't written any To Brittanys or To B or anything of the sort, how was any of them to know it wasn't for her. He ran up to the door step to grab the plant as the door opened. It was Brittany.

"Alvin?"She questioned.

"Yea," he started. He griped the corner of the pot and began to turn it behind his back. "Um, hi!"

"Hi, back, what are you here for and what are you holding behind your back?" She began the walk towards his back, trying to see what was there. He quickly turned to conceal the pot (unsuccessfully).

"What''s the flower for?" She asked.

"Um, uh, well, it's for you." He said shoving the large flower towards her. He started to blush perfucely.

"Oh, Alvin, it's gorgeous!" She said as she grabbed the flower. She gave him a quick hug. "So why are you here?" She asked.

"Um, well, uh, no reason!" She he said forced. He quickly bolted across the line going towards his house.

Brittany turned the pot with flower in it in her hands.

"Oh Alvin," She laughed quietly to herself. "Your so cute." She closed the door, putting the over sized plant on the window sill in her room. "Thanks." She whispered to herself as she quietly walked out of the room, looking back at the big yellow plant Alvin had gotten for her, and silently closed the door.
