The Game Change
"Mom I'm not leaving without her" Emma said towards Snow.
"Emma we don't have time for this! The portal will be closing soon so get on the ship already!"
Prior to the fighting, yesterday, Regina and Emma made a commitment to each other. They both decided to raise their son together.
"Regina I need to talk to you" Emma said as Regina answer her front door.
"Yes Ms. Swan what is it?"
"Regina, I'm tired of all this fighting and tension whenever you walk in a room. I want to be happy for once. Don't you?"
Regina raised her eyebrow and continued to stare at Emma.
"I think that we should try together, to be friends…for Henry's sake. This means we can't turn our backs on one another. We have to be honest from now on."
"Finally something we can agree on." Regina finally spoke. "Emma, I can't agree with you more. The problem isn't going to be with me though, but your parents."
"I can handle them Regina. You just have to continue to be good. I want both of us to be in Henry's life."
Regina stretched her hand out and waited for Emma's to make contact with hers. Their hands came together as one and they shook hands.
"Thank You Emma." Regina said.
Before Regina could retrieve her hand back Emma squeezed it a little more tightly and pulled her towards her. They were face to face inches away from each other. Regina gasped in air in astonishment of how close she was to Emma. Emma looked into Regina's eyes and down to her lips and up to her eyes again. Together they both leaned into each other and their lips met. They did not know what they were doing but it felt right.
"I Said I'm not leaving without her! Either she comes or I stay!"
Snow looks at David wondering what to do. She can't believe what her daughter is doing to her; bringing along the woman who wanted to destroy her life.
"Trust me!" Emma said looking into her mother's eyes.
The Charming's family relied on faith and trust.
Henry, who was already on the ship, looked at his grandmother. "Trust her" He said walking towards Snow.
Snow sighed and took a leap of faith and motioned for them to join them on the ship.
Emma grabbed Regina's hand and with their fingers intertwined with each other's they both ran for the pirate ship that was to lead them in another realm.
Before entering the pirate ship Regina stopped Emma and gazed into her eyes.
"I love you Emma" Regina said out of breath from running.
Emma's smile wider than the ship, said "I love you too Regina"
They took each other's hands again and enter the ship, ready to take on their happy ending.
