Why was it, that whenever I wasn't looking for this idiot, he was everywhere, but whenever I was looking for him, he was nowhere. I was stomping through the halls of the world meeting center, searching every nook and cranny of the place for the blond-haired imbecile. But it seemed that he just wasn't here. He couldn't have left, he had just gotten back from getting McDonalds!... Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if he left to get more of that crap. I sighed stopping in the hall, and tiering of my search, turned to my right to find him standing in front of the coffee machine. I stood for a moment, my brain struggling to process his presence. "A… Alfred…?" I said incredulously. That seemed to catch his attention, as he looked up from the bubbling pot, expression blank, but quickly switched to a smile when he saw me.
"Oh hey Art!" He chirped, face lighting up. "Where ya been?" I shook my head, gaining back my right of mind, and went to him, whacking him upside the head with the book I had been carrying.
"You arse! I've been looking for you everywhere!" I exclaimed at him angrily. "You were here the whole time?!" He laughed a bit, the book not seeming to have any painful effect on him.
"Well, it depends on what you by the whole time." He said, reaching for the coffee pot. "I've been here the whole break, if that's what you meant-" I whacked his hand away from the pot and stepped in between him and his precious coffee.
"I've literally been searching the premises!" At this point I wasn't really angry at him anymore, just frustrated that I'd wasted half my break. "Why didn't you stop me when you saw me or something?" He smiled gently and hugged me softly.
"I'm sorry I didn't see you… I would've totally said something if I saw you, Arthur." I sighed, wrapping my arms around his neck. He was nice and warm, like always. I heard him chuckle lightly. "Why did you need to find me so badly?" I smiled, and pulled my head back a bit so I could see face him.
"Because. I've missed you." I leaned up kissing him happily. I felt him hold me closer and I smiled into it. We pulled apart, and he was smiling at me even brighter than before. "There." I said giggling a bit.
"I missed you too…" He said, looking content. "Thank you, that was nice. But let me get my freaking coffee!" I laughed blocking him for as long as I could, until he began tickling me and people were staring.
