I was running. I don't know from what but I was running from a beast. I glanced over my shoulder seeing a black figure chasing after me. It was taller than a horse and it's eyes. Oh! It gave me nightmares everytime I closed my eyes I saw those glowing red eyes.
Tears streamed down my face, tears of fear. "Lelia!"I screamed. The she-cat was leaping through the trees over me. She jumped down beside me and looked at me "He...he's...going...to kill..us...this time.."she panted. I nodded "Yeah...Lelia I'm scared...we need...to...get back...to camp..."I squeaked.
Lelia shook her head "That's stupid, Mia! It'll follow us!"she growed. My eyes widened, my forepaw lost footing. I rolled up into a ball from making myself roll down the hill. "Mia!"Lelia screeched. I tried to look up to see if the monster was following me. It was, it stared at me with a new kind of spark, Panic? No, Guilt...maybe. I unsheathed my claws and stopped at the bottom of the hill. Lelia left me, left me to be eatin' by the monster Some friend.. I thought.
The monster caught up to my broken body sniffing it, my eyes widened so big, they could be able to replace the moon. The monster shrunk into a regular sized cat. It's eyes were beautifu shades of gold, it's jet black fur was a pretty silver stripes. "Are you okay?"the voice of a tom, a handsome tom.
His face had dark gray stripes under his eyes. I managed a nod "I-I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to chase you and make you think I was going to kill you...I just went though a personal event."he meowed. I nodded and struggled to move "I...I can't move."I mewed. "Okay,...what's your name?"he asked. "Melinna Lotus Harlem, but you may call me Mia."she meowed. He nodded "I'm Hiro."he meowed.
I groaned "Can you help me?"I asked. He nodded "I used to be apart of the Flaming Skies. I used to be their healer. Are you in pain anywhere?"he meowed. I nodded and struggled to lift my head up, I pointed with my tail at my hindleg, even lifting my tail took away a bit of my low energy.
Hiro nodded and gently set his paw on it. I instantly screamed. Hiro sighed "Unfortunatly it's broken. Try to get up without that hindleg."he meowed. I nodded and lifted my head up again, I twisted and set my forepaws down and lifted myself up. I winced in pain and had my right hindleg up. Hiro guided me back up the hill. Appearantly he had a den, a den full of herbs.
He set me down in a makeshift nest of feathers and ferns. I immediatly idenifyed the smell of poppy seeds, juniper berries and watermint. He mixed them into a...bowl and applied it onto my leg. It's soothing cool feeling made me relax. He wrapped cobwebs around my leg. I smiled up at him "Thank you."I purred.
My eyes became heavy and dropped I closed them and slipped into darkness.
