"Ah… there's nothing like the great outdoors."
Terra McCoy looked over to the only other person currently in the counselor's cabin, expecting a response. Jason Rice had his legs propped comfortably on his desk while leaning back in his office chair. He didn't so much as glance up from his sports catalogue, which caused the brunette to frown.
"I was being sarcastic in case you couldn't tell," she said crossing her arms over her bright red shirt that read "Camp Pines" in bold black letters. Jason flipped the page. Letting out a sigh, Terra walked over to her own desk to sit down. She and Jason were camp counselors together for two years now, so she has long gotten used to his silent-type personality.
She flipped through some papers for a while, and looked through some pictures from last summer. Terra was a self-proclaimed city-girl, but even she had to admit she had some good times while here. She originally took the job back when she was sixteen to earn some extra mall cash, but even after a hundred sleepless nights in the woods and countless mosquito bites, she couldn't help but come back.
"So who's getting shipped in this year?" she asked opening a bag of chips that were on her desk. Jason shrugged.
"The usual," he said apathetically. Terra nodded and stuffed a handful of chips into her mouth.
"There're going to be a bunch of new kids from Colorado," she said between chews. Jason turned another page.
"Plus the greenhorn that's going be taking over Team Yellow," he added casually.
Cue frown.
"I didn't hear about that," Terra said spitting chip crumbs onto the floor before swallowing. "Who are they?" Jason shrugged again.
"Don't know anything about them yet except that they're seventeen, and will be getting here in a week."
Terra rolled her eyes. "Great. So the new guy isn't even legal yet," she mumbled conveniently ignoring the fact she was a year younger when she started. "The last thing we need is another cocky teenager around here."
Jason looked up from his magazine for the first time to raise an eyebrow at Terra.
"Last time I checked, you were nineteen."
Terra growled and threw her chip-bag at Jason, which he of course dodged expertly with a turn of his neck. She regretted her actions slightly as she watched the remainder of her food spill out onto the floor, but she kept a firm glare on the boy in front of her.
"Don't get sassy with me."
Okay, LAME! D: I almost bored myself with that intro, but I needed to introduce the counselors somehow. xD So yeah, the kids of South Park are going to summer camp, and your OCs are invited! :D This is my second attempt at an OC story, but the first one didn't work out so well, since I lost contact with some of the people whose OCs I was supposed to be using. _ Anyway, I'll be taking certain liberties with these OCs, so the more info you give the more IC they'll be. Of course, if they're being painfully OOC, be sure to pm me and we'll work something out. :] So fill out the application and let's get rolling! :DD
