Chapter 1 – Prologue.
The girl's eyes stared head on as she sped down the road, her eyes barely recognising the welcoming Forks sign. Her passive face broke into a slight smile as she heard the soft snoring coming from the backseat, looking back at the pair of girls, her younger sisters, she couldn't help but let out a soft laugh at the awkward cuddling position they ended up in. The second eldest, who was seventeen, a year younger than the girl herself, had her thick black hair stuck under the youngest sibling, by three years difference from the eldest, had her arm as the youngest herself had one leg on her lap and one on the floor of the car.
Shaking her head, eldest sibling of the three, focused back to driving. Flicking her black hair out of her eyes, she began to slow down the car as drove into a familiar driveway, just off the main road. Home sweet home, she thought with a tired but happy smile on her face. Shutting off the ignition to the car, she let herself out and made her way to the passenger doors to wake her sisters up.
"Hey guys, time to get up now" she said as she nudged the slightly, only to receive two grunts in return. Rolling her eyes, she nudged them harder. The two girls opened the sleepy eyes, their faces holding a slightly annoyed expression towards their older sister as she woke them up, but only to replace with wide smiles as they saw the medium sized house behind her. Quickly, they began to untangle themselves from their sleeping positions and jumped out the car in excitement.
"Yeah that's what I thought", the eldest said in amusement. Shaking her head at the two younger girls now racing to the house, bags in hand, she locked the car and made her way to the house also.
"Come on then Ri!" The youngest of the girls said, excitedly. With a huff, Adrianna, also known as 'Ri' as a nickname, made her way up the white wooden porch steps and opened the door.
"It's about time, it's fucking freezing out here" The second eldest snapped tiredly.
"Alexia! Watch your language and why are you even tired, you've been sleeping the entire ride from the airport!" replied Adrianna as they huddled into the warm hallway of the house. "Oh, and make sure you settle Kat in before you go to bed" she added.
"I'm not ten anymore Ri, I'm sixteen now remember? And I can settle myself in bed," Katerina, the youngest sister replied. "Besides, I'll doubt Lex will even make it to her own room without falling asleep on the stairs" she added jokingly.
"Shut up Kat, like you're wide awake yourself", Alexia sarcastically said as then bickering between the two ensued. Rolling her eyes, Adrianna stood upright as she finished placing the bags on the floor.
"Listen, it's three in the morning we've been travelling for what? Three, four hours? Both of you just make your way upstairs, quietly and we'll talk in the morning, now goodnight" The eighteen year old finished with a yawn as she too made her way upstairs to rest. With content sighs of finally being home and murmured good-nights, the trio made their way to their respective rooms.
"Night guys!" Adrianna shouted once more from her room as she settled into the relaxing comforts of her medium sized bed. Just as she closed her eyes, she heard heavy rain patter against her widespread window, on the farthest wall in her room. Welcome to Forks indeed, she thought with a small smile on her face, as she fell asleep.
