They say "Look at her. Look at them. They get to be big-shots', they get to run the world, and where am I? I'm stuck down here, scraping for a living, day after day."
Once, I agreed with them. I am lucky. I am a perfect golden child, with more chances and oppurtunities daily than most people get in a life time.
Now I know better. The Universe has ways to equalize the lucky and the normal.
I can still remember how I discovered it. I was just getting out of the shower. As I dried off, I noticed that I'd missed a patch of my right thigh while shaving. I craned my neck to see how far the patch of sparse hair went. and then I found out.
