TRIS' POV:

I wake to the sound my alarm clock makes at precisely six o'clock in the morning. Ugh, first day of school, I instantly thought. No sleeping in!

I park my car as close as I can to the front, which isn't very close at all. Everyone's early on their first day. It's a high school habit here in Chicago.

As I walk up the steps, I notice a group of boys, wearing all black, staring at me, with a weird look. I know I've seen them around, but I have no clue what their names are. Maybe it's because I look so plain in my grey shirt.

One boy is staring at me different, though. Almost in a way that is comforting. I'm not going to lie, he's pretty hot! He's muscular, and he looks extremely familiar. I know him from somewhere. But where?

When I finally get my locker open, he's standing there, he spooked me, but I hope he didn't notice.

"Can I help you?" I ask, trying to sound normal.

"Yes, as a matter of fact," his voice is very, very deep, "I want to know if you remeber me, Beatrice?"

"I can't remember your name, sorry! Oh, and it's just Tris now."

He reaches out his hand, "I'm Four. Well, call me Four. Don't tell anyone, but my real name is Tobias. I can trust you, right?"

I nod my head. "Wait! You used to be my neighbor! Then you moved to where the "brave" kids live!"

He smiles, "That's me! Do you still live on that boring road, in that boring neighborhood?"

I laugh, "Why yes, I do!"

"Do want to come over my friend Will's house after school? We are playing Candor or Dauntless!" Candor is what you call the truthful people, and Dauntless is what you call the brave people, who live near Tobias.

"I'd love to! Mind if I bring my best friend, Christina?"

"We need people, so she can come! See you later!"
"Bye!"

That's chapter one! Chapter two will be Candor or Dauntless. I will write it soon! I'll be on more often, since school is almost out!

Peace!
