Fun Facts:
* She named herself. Dumbledore, Snape and McGonagall asked her what her name was. When she never replied, they told her she could give herself a name. She decided on Alkami Claymore.
* For the longest time, Alkami didn't have a name. Her's was the hardest name for me to decide on. I ened up with Alkami Claymore in two parts.
Alkami was actially a name a friend of mine gave me for a story about us.
I loved the way she spelled it, and it seemed like something a 4 1/2 year old girl who just found out she was a witch would name herself.
Her last name, Claymore, is based off the Scottish Claymore sword. Naturally, she couldn't have the same last name as her father. Again, I say this in the story, but she liked the sound of 'Claymore' and took it as her own.
* As I do with every character I haven't decided the name for, I used my own as a stand - in name so I could start to write the story and hav a place holder for her name. (Red, by the way)
* I made a VERY specific decision one her personality. I made sure that, despite her trumatic past, she wouldn't hold a grudge against 'Muggles' for a VERY specific reason - it was to contrast against another who had suffered a trumatic experience by muggles.
? I'm not sure what you mean by 'species'.
* She DOES have a Boggart, but it's too complex to explain here. I'll just say it has a great meaning in her story. THAT may be a while away.
** I'll send a link to what I'm talking about. explains it better - and in more detail than I ever could. ^^; -
