Shaking his head, Hiro looked down at Megabot, then slowly got up. Everyone there had held their breath and watched as the undefeated 15 year old walked away from the fight.

Still undefeated.

Everyone looked back at the people he'd beaten, waiting. Nothing happened.

The 15 year old got away.

It was a good thing too, because Hiro was about ready to snap.

He kicked at the ground as he walked back up into the cafe, his mind wandering back to one place he had been trying to avoid for the whole day. He hadn't been able to- even though he'd overworked himself with his aunt and gone bot fighting. His mind had still wandered back to his brother.

Hiro walked back upstairs, ignoring his aunt, and set down the bot, glancing over at the other side of the room, which was 100% untouched. The 15 year old sighed, leaning against the wall.

His birthday had been hard enough…

It started to rain, which made it worse.

Hiro closed his eyes, setting the money down on the table before standing up again. He grabbed his jacket and the hat before walking back downstairs. His aunt didn't stop him. She had a feeling he knew where he was going.

The legendary bot fighter walked through the rain, barely feeling the cold water seeping through his jacket and running down his face, slicking his hair down onto his head.

Hiro didn't care- he just walked forwards.

Eventually, he made it back to where he wanted to go. The dirt was wet- like it had been when…

Tadashi Hamada

1996-2014

The 15 year old started to cry, his tears mixing with the rain and making it impossible to read the rest of his brothers tombstone. He knelt down in the wet dirt, hugging his brothers hat close to him.

"H-Hi T-Tadashi." Hiro stammered, shivering. "I… I never expected to be here. I-It's been one r-really long y-year without you, Tadashi. I… I miss you…" Tears streamed down the Legends face, dripping onto his brothers grave. "I… I… Tadashi…"

He couldn't formulate words. He couldn't talk, he couldn't move, he couldn't…

Hiro closed his eyes, hugging the hat tighter. He felt closer to his brother than he had all year. Since it…

Hiro leaned against Tadashi's tombstone, running his hand over his name over and over and over again. "I… I need you…" He managed to say before starting to sob, turning and pressing his forehead against the tombstone.

Hiro knew what other bot fighters though of him. Legend. Undefeated. Unbeatable. Invincible.

If Hiro knew anything, he wasn't a legend, undefeated. He wasn't unbeatable or invincible. He was… He was…

He wasn't anything, really. He was… He was… He was broken, if anything. He felt helpless, not invincible. If anything, he wasn't a legend.

Tadashi was.

Hiro had always felt that Tadashi was smarter. Because he was, even if Hiro had skipped more grades than Tadashi. Tadashi was more responsible than Hiro was. He knew better, he just…

He was just a better person.

Hiro felt as if someone had put a hand on his shoulder. Just a faint touch, but noticeable enough that he looked. There was nothing there. Hiro's eyes searched for something in the darkness, then looked back over at the tombstone and closed his eyes again.

Hiro was tired- he'd been staying up late and not getting very much sleep. He wanted to fall asleep in the rain, right here, by his brothers grave. It was… It was the closest he'd been to Tadashi in… In a while…

Hiro felt the touch retract from his shoulder. He looked over his shoulder again. There was someone walking up towards him. Hiro turned his head and pretending not to be looking.

Soon, he felt the rain stop hitting him.

He looked up. His mouth fell open.

"You'll catch a cold if you stay out in the rain with just that on, knucklehead."
